Quo's Combined Tweaks

Quo's Combined Tweaks v7.0.19 BETA

Also, Chandragupta is getting the ability to purchase Sangha Monks from the start, but never gets the ability to purchase regular ones.

2nd time my game crashed to desktop. Around 90th turn. Cant get past it.
I could send the save game if i know how. I`ve got zero experience knowing how to do this do.

none of it. Sorry its not mod fault apparently. Just disable smoother difficulty mod and now works fine.

What policy / technology were you researching when it crashes?

The first and second crash were at the end of ancient era. Say at the time when you finish or start the start of forming a new type of government with 4 slots. I’m 95% sure. I just ended one social policy when the screen went black for half a second and crashed to desktop.

On both crashes i had not enabled smoother difficulty. I have finished a whole game on epic speed with smoother difficulty and AI+ mod (without quo) so this is should be quo mod crash

So Quo mod is not compatible with AI+? I badly wanted to try that mod. Why they are not working together?

If you don't have save game files can you please tell me the following about crashed games:
  • Which civ you were playing and which AI civs were around
  • Which other mods were active
Unfortunately it's not possible for me to keep track of all the mods out there. QCT has been mostly stable for me as the developer--I think I've had one crash, outside of the issue with v5.0.8 with the reference to Indonesia causing a return to menu if Indonesia wasn't enabled. But I haven't seen crashes in my gameplay or my autoplays, so if its happening it means something weird is happening.

FWIW if you should happen to know that Greece is in the games that are crashing that may be a clue. Greece and France both have mechanics that use Lua, and Lua is generally waaaaay less stable than SQL. I've been debating pull all Lua specials from the mod entirely in the name of added stability, although the mod seemed extremely stable up through Vanilla.

Ok. There save file and some pics about mods.
When turn passed between Netherlands and India i got a crash. So i delete mods one by one (all guts except modinfo file). When i delete smooth difficulty and reload game - all works fine and no crash.

AI+ might work for you if you can fix the drop to main menu. I`ve spend to much time trying to fix this so i`ve given up to get this work at this point.

I`ve had simular crashes playing with Seoneok and Robert the Bruce.

While playing as Robert the other civs i could see were Wilhelmina and Saladin.

The mods i had installed during my second crash were:

(all available dlc from firaxis)
Better trade screen
Moar units
More lenses
Production que
Real great people
Warfare expanded
Yet not another earth map
(i did not use smoother difficulty at this time, and have finished a whole game as Wilhelmina with this mod the last 2 weeks)

The crash happened inbetween 2 turns

the attacked file is my save one turn before crash to desktop happened

AI+ works for me personally but some other mods don't. There is something wrong with mods in Rise and Fall having to do with load order of the DLCs. If you can't get a particular mod to work you might be able to make it function by disabling the DLC civs, altho there is no guarantee. It depends in part on assumptions the mod-maker made about DLC content.

AI+ functions for me with QCT. Rule with Faith, which I downloaded to see if conflicts existed after a player comment, does not load for me whether QCT is turned on or of--it just does not work at allf. Same with the more recent versions of Moar Units. The logs suggest an issue with the load order, something different about Rise and Fall. Unfortunately there's not a lot any of us modders can do about it right now. Firaxis needs to figure out what is going on and correct on their end.

My Son and I are up to the industrial era and have had no crashing, only a bucket load of desyncs, probably due to enormous map size and unsupported number of civs.

Mods:
Quo's Combined Tweaks
Moar units
Warfare expanded
Yet not another earth map
Unit Report Screen

You should remove Quo's Fewer AI Tantrums if playing with Quo's Combined Tweaks. The tantrums stuff was stuff I wrote in the first 2 or 3 weeks of Civ 6's existence. In addition to being old, it is also included in QCT (with some minor updates). It's unlikely to cause a crash if you run both, but you never know.

isau updated Quo's Combined Tweaks with a new update entry:

Quo's Combined Tweaks v6.0.0 ALPHA - Secret Agenda Flavors

The v6.0.0 ALPHA releases marks the return of a feature that was in Alpha stage prior to the release of Rise and Fall and that was pulled in order to make time for the Rise and Fall compatibility releases. This feature, Secret Agenda "flavors" has since been expanded somewhat.

Note that this is an ALPHA release of a very, very large system. There are some hiccups with it that need to be ironed out. This release is intended to put the system out there for basic testing. If you would prefer...

Think I've found a bug in 6.0.0. The turn after meeting Cyrus, and sending him a delegation, his leader screen popped up with the text "Warning Reason unkown"

Presumably, I am violating his secret agenda is some way (even though it is only turn ~15), but I have no idea what said agenda is.

EDIT: several turns later, a similar thing happened with France. This time, the text was just the parenthetical you get when a leader warns you ("You are weak in spies and diplomatic visibility"), but without Catherine's actual words. Again, this is a turn after meeting her, in the very early game. Also, for the record, I have a delegate with every civ I have yet met, and in my experience, that is enough to get her approval in the early game. The main difference here is that it is her primary agenda that is got her in a snit, as opposed to whatever is annoying Cyrus.

EDIT THE SECOND: And again, the following turn, with China. "You have more wonders." without his actual warning. Note: I do not have more wonders, because I do not yet have any wonders.

On further exploration, despite these warnings, none of the aforementioned civs are actually giving me a diplomacy malus on the relationship screen.

I later got a specific warning from Cyrus about exploring more of the world than he has, and there is a malus there, so it looks like it is just the diplomacy text/UI that seems to be acting weird, while diplomacy itself seems to functioning well. Saladin just complimented me on keeping my people happy, and there is a bonus on the relationship screen, so it seems the positives are working as well.
