Atomicgamer sometimes is slow for some reason. If its doing that, coming back at a later time is probably the way to go.

There aren't many other sites though that could hold a mod this size(at least in one download). I tried Filefront/Gamefront for example, and I'd have to upload it in the form of three parts(which would defeat the purpose), also many of the file storing sites are blocked in some countries :(
 
Hey, SoG....Have you considered expanding on Chiyu's vision of the Extra Mod by adding the new civs, buildings, wonders, units, etc, etc, that were introduced in Civ V?
 
I'd love to do that RPG. Actually I've already started somewhat. I added the Berbers, Indonesia and Assyria from Civ5, and I'm getting ready to add Brazil and other Civ5 civs.

I'm going threw all the new things in Civ5 unitwise, I'm going to add any unique unit that is in Civ5 to all existing civs(Rome will get Ballista in addition to their existing UU for example). I'm also looking at new unitclasses Civ5 has, and seeing where they fit in the mod as well.

Definitely will be adding all the buildings and wonders I can from Civ5(and its expansions).

Update on upcoming 3.1 patch

-Added Tupi, Brazil, Minoans, Zimbabwe, Benin, Burma and Swahili civilizations, Brazil and Minoans have their own art style.

-Added Great Granary wonder,

-Added Orbital Bomber and Metaphysics technology, both from the small and excellent "Ancient Astronauts" mod by thehiredgun

Plans:
Add Macchu Picchu, and the School and Circus buildings.

Add Venician civilization from Civ5 as well as Sweden civilization, also from Civ5.

Soon as I have a stable release, If im right it will allow all the game options like revolution again.

Been de-modularizing the game, just doing that has eliminated many of the crashes...
 
Have you checked with Platy SOG? He seems to the local python deity and he might know the cause.
 
Yeah actually, thankyou for asking.

Been fixing afew bugs, I've added trade ships and a whole line of pirate ships to the game as well, mostly ported from Orion's Naval mod. I also added a couple of techs from Civ5: Architecture and Navigation, moving some wonders and units where appropriate. The Medieval and Renaiissance periods are now very fleshed out, I'm happy with them now for the most part.
 
How goes things SoG? With the holidays in full swing we(the community) will have some extra time to civ-it-up. Any news mate?:beer:
