Is anyone interested in playing multiplayer QC? Pitboss or PBEM, Duel, Quick, Classical on Tectonics/Randomized Actual World (2-3 players) for a lively game? With Revolutions and parts of DCM turned off it should be relatively stable (although we'll be charting unknown waters).
 
I dunno if this is a bug but here is a savegame with limitless wonder buildings in my capital city... (seemingly so, at least).

I don't see the problem? There's no limit to great wonders in a city, and you play on settler difficulty, which is the lowest.

Good. That is relief. I thought there was a limit to how many great wonders (world or national) one can have in one city.

(Yeah, I'm slowly climbing up again from Settler because I jumped from Chieftain to Noble way too fast so I had to restart and find my foundation of strategy. Plus I am working up my speed too. I jound that Normal is WAY TOO FAST so I will do Epic next time around.

Cool game so far but it is vanilla so far. Waiting for Modern era to see your cool stuff. (Love your Great Person pop ups!)
 
Quick observations (only played to 1000AD so far):

run run run from elephants in africa and tigers in asia

does the pillage promotion stack? noble/heroic promotion is useful and pretty balanced, charismatic leaders++

:yuck: and unhappyness in the citybar showing as :health:

may just be this map but I'm having about 5 or 6 more :health: per city than typical due to the new resources. EDIT (probably just the map, tectonics clusters resources)

interesting pedia entries

maybe prime timber should give additional hammers on chopping?


Easter egg? (need to have blood effects component installed to see... watch the warrior attack the gorilla) :goodjob:

My guess about the pillage promotions is that they stack, but please try it out.
Yes, please give more feedback on the resources.
My initial fear was they'll give too much +:health: in the early game - thus I introduced more :yuck: in forge and factory, but might need some earlier buildings too, or even lessen the default health bonuses!

Are you sure about the :yuck: and :mad: in the citybar incorrectly showing as :health:?
 
the city is unhappy but there's a :health: right by the city name

Hi, I can't build Railway Artillery prestige unit with Germany. Also, I haven't seen new animals and ressources in my game, are those optional?

Then something fishy is ongoing, I'd suggest you to remove and reinstall the mod.
 
sorry to bother you Avian but I downloaded this mod, installed it, and tried to run it but it crashed to desktop before loading into the game. all that would come up is the BTS splash screen and windows vista saying this application has stopped working. I have modular mods enable and cause it is so short I cant give you any information.. is there something I am doing wrong?

Did you update BtS to 3.19?
 
Since I managed to double post, I might as well use this opportunity to tell you some words about my plans for the next update.
I intend to include the yet unreleased Varietas Delectat v7, that will feature Geo's Cultural Citystyles, some excellent units by bakuel and danrell, and also some nice optimizations by achilleszero, that I hope will further reduce the MAF issues.
Also, I have already done some adjustments to the new bonus resource appearance rates, and changed the graphics of the timber resource to a more fitting one.
I'm aiming for some new wonders to include, but that's not final yet.
I had suggestions for a police unit to help quench rebellions, I hope I won't forget to include it this time.
I will most probably add some smallish production bonus to jungle cutting (but only a portion of the forest cut)
Also, I'm looking into the possibility to include this http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=328626 modcomp, it looks promising!
Thinking about an early active hunting mechanics, i.e. killing animals to give a small food bonus to a nearby city, to give some incentive to face the mighty mammoths!
Oh yes, and I've corrected the happiness/unhappiness/health indicator(below cities) bug reported above.

Any chance VD's additional Civs can make it in to the installer as an optional add on?
 
yes it is updated to 3.19. I have noticed that it will not work also with diversica. same problems. It seems like there is too much going on and it just gives up.

Hi, the "fist" (resistance) in the citybar incorrectly showing as a "lightning".

Great mod by the way.
