Rabbit and Sea Lion Resource

We have no artist on the team, but if a few of us can learn to convert units we have quite a bit more flexibility; So long as we only use one or two models in a unit the poly count shouldn't bite us too hard, like you said. ;)
I think then it would really a good idea if some of you try to convert some units using Deliverator's tutorial. If problems occur you can always ask me and this way I could get to know which parts I'll have to add to his tutorial to make it work for AO.

Onr thing I already know about that differs is that the AO dds files cannot be used the way they are in the original game. They have to be converted first. The necessary program and some explanation can be found here.

Awesome, thanks! And yeah, a few of us are trying to follow that tutorial atm. I'll be giving it a try tomorrow (found a job where I can mod while at work, so yeah. :lol:)

I have written a small post mapscript for placing Sea Lions and Walruses in a more realistic place, ie only on non-tropical coasts and single plot islands. Since I can't attach it here I will post it as a mod along with the BUG version of your Female Missionaries and Kathy's goody islands.

Since the download only contains graphics and no XML information you'll have to add that yourself. This is no simple task, especially if you haven't done any XML modifications yet. Further you'll have to modify the gamesfont.tga files. However, that all can be done. If you like to try it, this tutorial might be of good help for you:
