Based (heavily based) on the anime Record of Ragnarok. You don’t have to know the source, but you should look it up.

After the gods realized the sin in humanity, they decided to commence Ragnarok, or the battle between gods and men. If the humans lose, the human race will be wiped out. If they win, both sides will have peace. Once someone is wiped out, they cannot return.

The Valkyries decided to give human fighters Völundr, or god-killing weapons.

Who will win?

The game starts on September 9. Please give me 1-3 character sheets before then.

What is the character’s backstory? What do these moves do?

Xangô was the third king of Oyo and is praised nowadays in America as the Thunder/Fire god.
That's why I gave him moves as Flamethrower and Thunderbolt, who is ispired of Pokémon's move set of fire and eletric.
Flamethrower is a 100% acc move with 95 of power who has 10% of chance of cause burn.
Thunderbolt have the same acc and power, but it has 10% chance of cause paralyze.
I also gave Xangô Rock Throw because he made Thunder/Fire with Rocks, that's why he is also the god of Rocks.

Xangô is also a god of Justice, but I can't figure out a move or an ability to deal with that.

Thoth would of course be a god (wasn’t he the moon god too?), and where would Shango fit? He’s both a human spirit and a god.

Thoth was the god of the moon, sacred texts, mathematics, the sciences, magic, messenger and recorder of the deities, master of knowledge, and patron of scribes.

If Thoth is the god of the Moon, I would like to have too the god of the Sun

Character Sheet: Odamon, Demon King of the Sixth Heaven
Character name:
Odamon
Mythology/Region of world from: Japanese Mythology
God or human side: Human, though claims the title of Demon King of the Sixth Heaven.
Weapon: The Demonpowder Tanegashima – This is not just any tanegashima rifle. Crafted by ancient spirits who foresaw the battle between gods and humans, this black-powder gun is adorned with intricate, almost organic patterns, which glow a deep crimson when the weapon senses divine energies. It has the ability to fire without the need for traditional ammunition; the wrath and suffering of humans act as its bullets. Once it locks onto a god's aura, it never misses its mark.
Background info: Odamon, birthed from the clandestine union of a brothel maiden and a revered priest, had been dealt a cruel hand since birth. Abandoned to the whims of the world, their infant cries echoed in the desolate alleys, and their tiny hands scavenged for sustenance amidst the filth and disdain of the streets. But as their limbs grew and their spirit hardened, the fire of rebellion began to flicker in their eyes.

Rumors whispered of the fabled Demonpowder Tanegashima, a weapon that held enough might to level the heavens. Some claimed it was just a legend, but to the desperate, it was a beacon of hope. Odamon's path led them deep into the heart of a forbidden forest, where ancient spirits lurked and observed the trials of humanity. There, beneath the eerie glow of a crimson moon, they met a spirit, ancient and wise, who saw in Odamon the unyielding tenacity of humanity. Intrigued, the spirit offered a pact; in exchange for a vow to live only for the people, the spirit would bestow upon Odamon the coveted Demonpowder Tanegashima. With unwavering determination, Odamon accepted, sealing the deal with a promise to tear down the heavens that had turned a blind eye to the suffering of the mortal world.

With the Tanegashima by their side and a purpose burning brighter than ever, Odamon journeyed to the mountains. There, hidden from the prying eyes of the deities and tyrants, they constructed a grand temple, a haven for the lost and the broken. Word spread like wildfire, and from every corner of the land, the downtrodden flocked, seeking refuge and purpose. They were no longer mere vagabonds and outcasts; under Odamon's guidance, they were molded into an unstoppable force, an army poised to challenge the gods themselves.

Move names:
  1. Three Thousand Weapons
    • A dazzling spectacle of mastery over weaponry. The ground trembles as spectral arms emerge, each wielding a magical rifle from a bygone era, striking foes with relentless precision and coordination. Each blast is a choreographed masterpiece of light and sound.
  2. Unity Through Force of Arms
    • Odamon summons ethereal warriors from the past, each representing the latent power of an oppressed people. These spectral fighters converge relentlessly on a single target until their time is up.
  3. Heaven's Descent
    • Raising their weapon, Odamon forces the collapse of some celestial realms. Brilliant beams of radiant energy pour down like divine meteors, scorching the battlefield and purging foes with the gravitational inertia of the heavens.
  4. Nuke
    • With a fierce chant and a forceful thrust of their arm, Odamon releases an orb of volatile energy. It rises momentarily, then detonates in a cataclysmic explosion, engulfing enemies in a raging radioactive inferno that consumes all in its radius.

Number 2:

Michel De Nostradamus, the Prophet of Things To Come.
From 16th century France.
Human.
Wields a staff as his Volund, (the Staff of Lazarus)
Background info: Born a peasant in the region of Provence, people saw gift in Michel. They saw that Michel De Nostradamus was different, in a sense that his aura was stranger than others. When a group of older kids tried to beat up scrawny Michel, Nostradamus was able to overpower all of them.
Michel later went on to college in Avignon and got married. For his honeymoon, Michel and his newlywed went to the Italian city states. In Italy, Michel De Nostradamus learned something, the hard way. He was beaten up by a bandit gang in Florence, and left for dead on the street. When waking up, he noticed something different: he could see the future.
Michel De Nostradamus was immediately sent to Paris, where he would be in the court of Catherine De Medici for the rest of his life, forseeing the outcomes of many events, some he wish he could prevent.

Abilities:
Les Prophecies - Can redirect moves using his staff.
Midnight Bells of Notre Dame - sends out 2 loud bell noises (which transform into waves - dealing 10 damage when hitting an opponent)
Keys of Avignon - Sends out a beam of light, which deals 15 damage when an opponent is hit.
