Why didn't I realize before - both of them have multiple girlfriends, they enjoy traveling and dancing, and Snoopy is into all kinds of different stuff.

I'll take your word on Dogbert/Dilbert; it's been a long time since I followed that strip.

But there are times when Snoopy can be Neutral Evil. Just watch the Christmas special and you'll see some less-than-nice behavior from him. Same with the Thanksgiving special. After all, he fed the kids a "meal" of popcorn and bread and kept the turkey dinner for himself and Woodstock. In the Easter special, while he was nice to Peppermint Patty and Marcie and Woodstock, he did steal all of Lucy's Easter eggs.

The flu viruses are constantly evolving yes. Though it happens in cycles from flu season (autumn/winter) to flu season. So at the beginning of a flu season the clever docs make a vaccination based on the current strains out there. But next year the virus may have evolved enough for your current vaccination to no longer work, so you need the updated version. And so forth.
