Triple post!?!?
They probably thought the people in honors science would know thier metric system already. Also: grades are a large part, but not the only part of what determines who gets into the advanced classes. Speaking with teachers personally, even just showing that you're trying harder than most people.Which brings me to the offshoot: We're reviewing the metric system. I ask my friend who is in Honors Science. They skipped it. Which is why I ask my mom WHY SHE FORCED ME TO ACCEPT 200s SCIENCE!!! (College Prep, still rigorous, but not as much as Honors) My friend's average for the year last year for Science was an 87. He gets in Honors. I get a 97. But I'm in CP. Notice anything wrong?
Dude, get a gameboy. Or just ask to go to the bathroom and don't come back.Study Hall: Don't even friggin' get me started. One hour and a half of doing nothing. Torture. I just got a book about the Paris Peace Conference and read.
Quit spamming![]()
Also, I have a GameBoy Color, GBA, DS, and a PSP. One problem:
I CAN'T PLAY THEM! Though you could in my district until I reached third grade. Then, they banned everything fun. The days of Pokemon battles were at an end.
I r n0t t3h spamz lulz itz just happ3nd lulz w3n pr3ssn p0st rep1y lolz.
But now for a proper rant: a girl said she wants to speak to me tommorow, and I'd love to speak to her, but I know for a fact that a cat will eat my tongue when I get to the talking.![]()
Have you considered doing such things by holding it under your desk? Or behind a book? This is how you stick it to the man, D.
Screw it, I'll just petition.
Classes are for learning, not gameboys. Play when you have free time at home or where ever else you might be.
If you love school so much why don't you just marry it, nerd.![]()
Nah, I feel D's pain a little bit. Study halls are basically do-nothing periods. Lucky for me, my school has free periods with open campus.
One thing you could try is doing your homework during this time so you won't have it later. Or if you're a daredevil, do yesterday's homework for classes you have later in the day so you don't have to do it the previous night.
One problem: My study hall is directly at the end of the day.

Doing homework doing study hall? What a crazy idea!
