The postcount mystery was solved yesterday anyway. Just check site feedback.

Returned to school today. Thought it would be nasty, but it wasn't too bad. Got to see my friends again, and now in the last year we get some interesting things to study!

Even your food study thing or whatever that was? How'd that nutty project turn out BTW?

 Really? Not allowing some students to have a car on campus? I had no idea that restriction existed anywhere, you learn something new every day. :)

Most places say they do it to encourage students to live and spend thier weekends on campus, but it's usually actually just because they don't have enough parking space.

We don't have room for 20,000 cars at every campus in a city. I know at my school, which is on the outskirts of Baltimore, you can't have a car on campus freshman year, there's hardly enough room for commuters to park as it is! I'm sure out in the country, though, there's more room, and it's not a problem.

I understand perfectly, I guess the difference and the reason why we don't have this here is that most people in colleges around here don't have a car, because they either live in walkable cities or have cheap and fast public transportation easily available. Thus, parking is not a problem at all in campuses, although in much of my city it is... :)

Its same in my uni. Freshmen aren't allowed to keep their cars on campus cuz otherwise there's no space for commuters. I think they let them park on a difference campus somewhere though.

You're allowed to have a car on campus as a freshman? Wow!

It's not a ginormous campus or anything. It officially turned into a four year college this year. It's basically as big as a community college unless you count the areas of construction. No dorms or anything like that quite yet.

And I wasn't aware that that was a big deal? A lot of my friends who are attending real universities brought their cars with them. I guess we're lucky down in these here parts?

Well, at Notre Dame officially, freshman weren't allowed to have cars but the freshman class council could apply for an exemption the second semester. It was always granted but in theory if the freshman class did something bad they could deny it.

I rant that my girlfriend can't meet me for lunch. Ah well.

Economics. But it's only a quarter of the course. (Don't know a lot about two of the other three quarters either, heheheh.)

Your first year will basically be a lot of GCSE and A-Level maths, and some economics which will be fairly simple.

So close to release and at such a crucial time, why has Spore.com decided to have repairs to the site done now? Why not any other time!? :gripe:
