Has the vanishing post count issue been rectified? Not that I'm bothered of course....

I was over 1800 easily before.

I made a special point of setting my alarm at 2:10am to get the trash set out for pick up which usually occurs at around 4am or so. I see NO other house with trash outside. There was no notice anywhere that trash pickup is delayed this week because of Labor Day. If this is just some "oh golly gee, all us long time locals have always known about this" thing, I'm gonna be royally pissed!

P.S. - NO offense Salty Mud, but I'd like to rant about post counts. Just hide the bloody things!

Post counts should be hidden. It's not fair that people should be judged by the number of times they press 'post reply,' and any number of them could be totally pointless spam.

Real rant: I start university in slightly under a month. Problem is, the course I'm taking is in a subject I know nothing about. So I've got about a month to learn everything I can cram into my brain. TEH JOYS OF SUMMER

Also, the old fear of death has morphed into fear of nuclear obliteration.

EDIT: Also, the pan I bought has a dent in it.

Psst, the first year of uni is just recapping A-levels, and the pass mark is 40%.

I have a big project this morning. All well and good. But it would have taken me half the time - and the end result would look much better - if the guy for whom I am doing it had taken 2 seconds while making copies to change a setting.

Parking at the college sucks because of all the construction. I usually park in the Arts Center parking lot because it's the only one that ever has open spaces, but since they blocked off yet another area around campus, there are no student spaces at the Arts Center because now everyone's parking there, even if they have class on the opposite side of campus. And it's only more frustrating to see all of the open faculty spaces that we aren't allowed to park in.

Construction is no fun at all.
