My parents went to buy new speakers despite there being absolutely no problem with our old ones. We used the speakers without any problems until my mom decides we need to get new speakers "because they're old". Who cares how old they are, it matters how well they work.

So, we get the new speakers, plug in all the cords, and I listen to my music. I plug in my headphones, and what do I see? YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE GODDAMN VOLUME IF YOU HAVE HEADPHONES IN. It's about half blast. I turn it to full blast. It sounds the same. I turn it to the lowest setting that's not off. It's still the same volume. And I turn it off. It's still playing at the same volume.

And I take out the headphones. The sound quality is garbage. It's staticy and has worse quality than my friend's iPod speakers. So I have to either listen to soft music in my headphones or garbled-quality but loud music. All because my mother made an impulse buy that could have better been spent on a trip to the beach or eating out.

I forgot to mention that you still can hear some of the music as if the headphones weren't plugged in when they are.

Guess what? My mom apparently thought not being able to hear without headphones was a problem to replace them.

And guess what? THESE PIECES OF CRAP NOW HAVE THE SAME GODDAMN PROBLEM.

P.S.: Wow, I think half of my posts have been dedicated to these two speakers.

P.P.S.: There's a calm in my ranting too.

P.P.P.S: It'll be back up to full speed once school starts.

I'm gonna have to work all day everyday pretty much the rest of this week except for friday when I go on vacation. I wouldn't mind really but it's kind of annoying work, damn marble tiles that we have to put concrete on the floor first, let it dry, then thinset the tiles on(that's tomorrow's work) with I'm sure tons of annoying little cuts that will have to be perfect because there's supposed to be minimal grout lines. Will probably work late tomorrow doing that because it's a huge room(a 350sq foot bathroom)

Also have to do a floor in Brooklyn which is what will really suck since there's no air conditioning there and we have to go in tomorrow to prepare, then on wednesday a full day to get everything done. Once the mud is done the tiling is easy enough there actually but putting the cement down sucks.

Also, I have a horrible farmer's tan from working on my neighbors house outside all day everyday(except thursday since it was raining) since last Wednesday. I'm brown on my neck and arms, and horribly pale white everywhere else.

My headphones are crap. Sometimes only the left one works, sometimes only the right, sometimes none, and they flit rapidly between these three states, severely distorting the sound.

The community college I'm taking classes at has the worst computer system. I'm trying to pay my fees online but the system spends more time down than spends up.
