D'Artagnan59
The Gascon
Excuse the double-post, but it has to be said:
I have the most annoying, clingy friend. Judge him by his interest, he's a pretty cool guy. However socially, HE decides when the conversation if over, not you.
For example, today, he said hi to me and I said hi to him. However, he decides to shout halfway across the hall and asked if my computer got fixed yet. Of course, I pretend I never heard him and walk off. Another time was when he decides to go into my Photography class to ask me over his house, and my teacher gave him a "What the hell are you doing" look (If a guy in a dark brown trenchcoat randomly walked in your class, I would be more worried if he was going to shoot up the school). I end up facepalming and humiliated.
Not to mention, again, him trying every single possible way I can hang out with him over the week. The one time I went out in public with him, he not only almost got himself arrested after nearly going Christian Bale on the manager and the ticket lady, but he also managed to cockblock me at the mall as well (again, the girl would think I was part of the Psycho Killers if she saw him).
But the worst part: Here I am, sick, without a voice. I stay home, regain part of it, but still go out to CVS because I want a Dr. Pepper. I also eat a steak, mushroom, and cheese sub because it's around dinner time and I'm sick. While in CVS, I get a call from this friend asking if he still wanted to hang out. I explicitly tell him that I'm sick and that he can't come over.
Guess who I see in my yard? Yep, turns out my neighbor is friends with him. And it turns out that they both went into our house, but came out without stealing any of my stuff (thankfully). Apparently, after a club they had, they both took the late bus and had the neighbor's mom drop them off because "we had plans to hang after school Wednesday" (which I specifically said "Maybe another time" to and never made plans to hang out with him that week).
Apparently, D'Art giving person who has no ride home ride=BFFS BEST FRIENDS FOREVER in his mind. I am no longer going over his house. He is no longer going over my house. I refuse to have contact with him besides the occasional "Hey, what's up?" If I give an inch, he takes more than a mile.
