Why is it that the idiots designing computer tables cannot fit into their tiny minds that computers these days have mouses too! The keyboard platform is always placed lower than the rest of the table and it's too narrow to fit both keyboard and mouse on it. You have to keep the mouse on a different elevation and further than the keyboard forcing you to reach for the mouse everytime you need it.

You know what I hate? Asskissing nowadays. Everyone that I see, with the exception of maybe a few brave individuals, is a meek ass kisser in one way or another. Always worrying about this or about that, such people need to worry about something, need to stress constantly, need to feel insecure about themselves, constantly feeling incomplete.

I think, at least in my reasoning, that modern day culture is to blame. People watching too much TV, seeing too much crap advertised that costs too much money, as well as TV itself reducing people to paranoid drones via the use of TV news which is always airing something negative, be it a shoplifting or a nuclear bomb. Thus, we kowtow to the "authority" figures, the bureaucrats of either a corporation or a government, because they must have it right, right?

People need to start thinking for themselves, not living up to the standards of others, and not worrying so damn much. Life is too short, idiots!

I agree. People these days care too damn much about offending someone else, or pissing somebody off, or someone's feelings getting hurt. If you disagree with someone, why shouldn't they know it? If you don't like someone, tell them! The easiest way to fail in life is to try and make everybody happy. Thus, if everyone today is worried about hurting someone's feelings, then everyone is doomed to failure. Congradulations, world, you fail.

I hate my bad procrastination habits, my failure to exercise regularly and eat half decently (I either eat a HUGE amount of food in a day or very little, it's never a consistant amount).

I just found out that my former English teacher died. He was only my teacher for a semester, but I really liked him. I never even really got to say goodbye, he left the school in between semesters and I never got around to seeing him again.

You know what I hate? British people nowadays. Everyone that I see, with the exception of a few Irishmen, is British or of British descent. Always blathering on about Football, tea or crumpets. Not to mention blathering on in that infernal accent of theirs.

I think, at least in my reasoning, that caved in chests and bad teeth are to blame. A shortage of dentists and personal fitness trainers, not to mention an excess of tea drinking. In addition, those "Football" fans, always partying as though they've won the world cup, when they never will again. Thus, we all have to put up with their crap, day in and day out, by the "lorry" full.

Sorry to hear that, its always sad when you only have the memory of something or someone beautiful. You make me remember this morning I had a dream that my dad died and I had to deal with that, first he told me he only had a few weeks left and even in those weeks I didnt mend the broken relationship we have or tell him anything I wanted to say. Doesnt hollywood teach us anything? But I never even said my farewells in the dream, and yet even upon waking and learning 'twas just a dream and a day passed... I havent tried to bridge the communication gap between us. Treasure your memory Elrohir. you've made me realize i ought to treasure what i have before it becomes memory.

I don't imagine student-student relationships are very strong and should be expected to last very long. So why not just quit with the relationship crap and just go for the good stuff?

Why do people insist that posing a question is a rant? A rant is a declaration of the wrongness of something, not a question of the reason something might exist.

Why do people insist that struggle is wrong? Don't ask why you have homework or early classes; it is because that is what is required to learn. Don't ask why women are so hard to decipher; that is because it allows you to truly appreciate when you find one that you can relate to.

Why do most readers put up with nonsense postings? Because in general we are gracious and give the benefit of the doubt to the poster. Perhaps we have just misunderstood. So we continue to post back and forth until we eventually figure out that a particular poster has nothing to say, and then we filter out their posts and stop reading them.

Why do posters who have nothing to say keep posting? I don't know. SwedishGuy, you will have to answer this one.
