Looks like you're ready to kick my rear academically! :salute:

I'm currently weighing the cost/benefit of the degree. Two (zwei) or three (drei) extra years of college for another degree. Fluency in German or sacrificing a few years to start my career. The cost of college and an internship over seas or will this extra degree get me more cash in the long run.

A person that went to my high school chose that career and now she translates Italian to English for movie stars in Florence.

Decisions, decisions.

I suppose it depends on what you want to do. I finally got an offer to go for a program abroad (several programs in several different countries, such as in China, India, Australia, somewhere in Europe, etc.), but not only do I think I'm underqualified (which is the odd catch-22 of things like experience....to get somewhere to give you experience....you need experience.....WTH), but I also can't afford the five grand or so it'd take, plus lost time, plus having to have a place to come back to (and probably paying for that while I'm away for the two months or whatever), etc.

I'd say take me with you, but I don't know German (did one year of Russian and that's slipping...I need to Berlitz myself or something), and I have to get on with things already. I'll be 23 in July and I already feel like I'm far behind.

So Godspeed, Godwynn!

Going stag to a Valentine's dance wasn't such a bad idea after all :)

I'm with ya there, my schedule isn't working out so well, so it looks like my Finance graduation may have to be delayed. That could be a blessing in disguise with this second major I suppose.

:)

PS, of course you can come along, you only need one translator right? :D

And you told us in some thread(can't remember what thread it was) that women are not just sex.

Well, anyway, lucky you.

Thanks :p

But it's right, it's not only the sex :mischief:

Well, to be serious, we had a great week with a lot of stuff. We went shopping, ate at restaurants, cuddled, we saw a whole lot of movies, we got this crazy idea that it was a good weather to be out in...

I think it's not hormones this time :)

I can't even begin to comprehend...

It's entirely possible to do all that and more over the course of a week. There's a lot to do in 168 hours.

So anyways...

I don't care if it's overrated, I love Stairway To Heaven. What a beautiful piece of work. :)

If only it weren't the one decent song I had the attention span to learn to play...

Sounds fun, though I've never played it. (or at least not with that name. is it (at least the name) a London thing?)

Not that I know of, but it usually isn't connected with drinking. Usually it is played by kids in their hockey dressing rooms. (the coaches probably aren't too pleased, but I wouldn't know since I don't play hockey)

Did a hockey game break out from your fight?

Lol no!

And My RAVE: I got my G2 (to all non-Ontarians, that is the first level of drivers license in Ontario that allows you to drive without being accompanied by a fully licensed driver with 4 years driving experience)!

It is, and I hear it daily and still love it.

Well, of course, but the fact that you could get someone to have intercourse with you seventeen times (and only in one week) is quite a feat, IMO.

(I'm sure joakim is not dating some whore, so it's pretty impressive, IMO)
