It's amazing to see famous places on TV (like Venice, London, etc) and realize that you know all the buildings there and you have lots of memories about things that happened right there, and remembering how you used to sit on those stairs and talking with your friends, and knowing the hidden story of random corners of places that have become symbols of their region/country/continent, and the first name of the owner of the fast-food right on the corner of some random building in Trafalgar square or in Piazza San Marco (just chose these examples because I mentioned their cities in the beginning). It's a fantastic feeling.

So I talked to my father, and he didn't know; I talked to my friend and he didn't know; I talked to my brother and he didn't know; I talked to everybody that I knew...

Why do I have to explain everything like if I was in a trial? I travelled around the world, I've been in 16 countries in 3 continents, I've spent more than a year abroad if you add all the time of my travels, yet YES, WHAT I SAID IS TRUE! I do not pay for this, I go there only because someone ELSE pays it for me and I could never go to the... for example to the company that sponsored me 5 times and say "excuse me, can you please give me 1000 euro so my father can pay his bank loan?". No, I can't. I can't, and that's what makes it even more frustrating. Yes, I have a very beautiful suit, and I wear old socks underneath. That's exactly the point, and I don't give a <censored by me> if people don't believe me. Hopefully, I'll very soon (in a few years) not care if people didn't believe me, since I'm not going to be in that situation any more.

Whoa this is probably the last time I post in Random Rants or Random Raves, because there's always someone there to say I'm lying.

It just seems so controversial that first you say that your family is really poor and then you say that it's neat to see all the great cities of the world. No, you don't need to explain your situation again, we've all heard it. But still your rants&raves sound controversial.
