Yes Elohir, I have a job interview at the coffee / donut shop called Tim Hortons. It was created by the wife of the hockey player Tim Horton, but I think she sold it before it became super successful.

I found out the results of two assessments today.

IG - Bad
G - OK
VG - Very Good
MVG - Much Very Good

On my english assessment I got an MVG and on my swedish assessment I got VG+

I thought I was going to get G!

It's just I thought the Danish grades were stupid. We've got -3, 0, 4, 7, 10 and 12. No sense at all...

Well, most American schools use A through D inclusive and then F, skipping E entirely. So, still kind of silly and random.

Why? I didn't choose to be with them both, I just wanted to be with one of them. The other had no group so joined us. Iwould have done work, and I am nearly as smart as them, but they had everything under control, so I had nothing to do. "Too many cooks spoil the broth."

I would have at least tried to do my fair share.

Given that I can safely say that I have a good grasp of the material in my math class (which is Algebra 1 stuff, which I took twice in HS) and I am one of the smart people. Luckily group projects are not assigned because I dislike relying on people who end up not doing anything.

Actually, she cooked me a nice meal, so it's not that wrong. She's so sweet sometimes The best thing is, I'm 16, so this thing I'm not used to at all.

I recently got one too. She said she baked me cookies but her brothers ate them, I didn't care that they did as the very thought she would do that is amazing. I'm used to dating people who either insane or totally stupid and I either get rid of them or they decide to never to speak to me ever again one morning without provocation or explanation. This one for once normal and very thoughtful.

I guess after dealing with the loathsome wasteland of high school I finally get to good stuff.

grade systems in canada vary by school, region, etc.

I have seen A+ being 95, 90, or 85. A being 80, 85, or 90, and so on.

Also, there are some schools that go A+, A, A-, B+, B, etc. but others that go A+,A,B+,B,C+ because - is negative.

Also there are levels. Level 0 = fail. Level 1 (50-59) is below provincial standard, level 2 (60-69) is approaching provincial standard, Level 3 (70-79) is provincial standard, and Level 4 (have also seen 4+ and 4++, but not official marks) are above provincial standard (80-100)

And then some places us actual percentages. Yeah, our school system is weird. And this should be a rant.

Yes, I have gone to schools with level 1,2,3,4, but instead of level 0 they called in "R".

At my current school we go by the very simple, and IMO best system of percentages. 50% and up is a pass, with 80% and up required to go to most universities.

Anyways, on to the rave! I got that job that I applied for!
