Raptor crashes in US

And you are conveniently forgetting that socialism was extremely popular in this country until the reactioanaries convinced everybody else to root it out at all costs in the 50s due to the "Soviet menace".

I suspect its popularity is rapidly being restored by the bankers.

For me to be delighted, it would have to come as a surprise first. My most likely reaction would be a yawn followed by a second, less intense yawn.

I strongly suspect that in an equivalent situation, your reaction would have been the same as mine.

Even if it was, cheering the destruction of military equipment owned by the U.S. is not morally equal to that of cheering the destruction of North Korea's shoddy, second-hand Soviet surplus goods.

One of the two states listed above is a police state with no economy whatsoever suffering with starvation, governmental incompetence and extreme paranoia.

And one of the states is North Korea.

Yeah. Everybody knows the US isn't a police state .... yet. And we do still have an economy ... sort of. Other than that it fits like OJ's glove before it shrank when it got wet.

There was a public competition in the late 80s ending in the early 90s to select the lead design, so it was known about pretty soon after conception.

Indeed. I have a flight sim game from the early 90s where you could fly both the F-22 and F-23. Unless he was talking about spaceships or something...:mischief:

This borders on conspiracy theorism :shake:

:rotfl:

I'm not sure how to answer this...

Which nation has engaged in economic imperialism for the past 100 years? Which nation issued a declaration that it had the right to police the entire hemisphere? Which nation suppresses, controls, and exploits half the nations of the globe to fuel its own colossal economy? Which nation has intervened scores of times in defense of that power? It wasn't the Soviet Union...

Yeah, and Holland, UK, & France? can you link to that treaty?

No rebuttal eh? Man it sucks to be so ignorant of what you claim knowledge of, doesn't it RRW. So are we to assume from your representative Irishmen that they don't teach European history in Irish schools either?

I am done dolling out free tutoring to you, two pawnage events are enough for a day, you have to pay me to inflict more upon you.

abandoned them? check the thread.

My apologies, I saw you provide no coherent arguement based on fact and thought you were purposely burying your position. Was that not your intention?

The Soviets used the economies of Eastern European countries as a crutch until they had their own industries back in order, and beyond. Oh, and I'm fairly sure the SSR's in central Asia were not Soviet by their entire free will.

Which nation issued a declaration that it had the right to police the entire hemisphere?

This is special to the US? Which nation decided it could take half of a continent as a buffer zone against a perceived enemy?

Which nation suppresses, controls, and exploits half the nations of the globe to fuel its own colossal economy?

Yea, please qualify the words "suppresses, controls, and exploits". The Soviets and the Americans BOTH played that game with a majority of the world's population.

Which nation has intervened scores of times in defense of that power? It wasn't the Soviet Union...

Hungary & Czechoslovakia?

:lol::lol::lol: YOU cant prove your assertion and laugh at me for having no rebuttal!!!! Fabulous stuff... if onl;y you had onyl mentioned Spain and Portugal, instead of bringing in UK, holland and France... but sadly, for you, you did. you were right about Spain and France (I was aware of that treaty, I didnt know the name of it), and thought you were referring to another which included UK, France and Holland. but you wernt referring to anyhting which really happened, so you cant blame me for being ignorant of your fresh air facts. Try actually knowing what you are tlkaing about next time before deciding "I'll throw in some names of European countries here". when you quote this part with your rebuttal, be sure to answer me this, straight out: In which treaties did Holland, the UK and France declare their rights to police an entire hemisphere? Name of the treaty or you have lost.

My apologies, I saw you provide no coherent arguement based on fact and thought you were purposely burying your position. Was that not your intention?

Oh Patroklos... you know what, repeat again and agin to yourself that you've won the argument, if thats what keeps you happy, go ahead. Just know that that isnt reality. youve amditted youve lost trhe arguemtn, whether you intend to or not. youve proved the Monroe Doctrine is imperialistic, by your utter inability to do otherwise (you have actually helped my arguemtn with the feebleness of yours). Thanks, you agree with me.

I don't remember what it was called. I never played the missions, just the free flying. It was basically around California, from SF to LA or so.

That would be Spain, Britain, France, Holland, and Portugal.

You sure it wasn't the United States?

Did Irish education fail to inform you of things such as the Treaty of Tordesillas as well?

This lesson is on me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Tordesillas

The US has behaved in a very similar manner to the Imperial nations, I believe I've made that claim many times, as have others. Tordesillas was only between Portugal and Spain, though.

RRW, there really is no scale to measure just how ridiculous you look. Everything you said about the Monroe Doctrine turned out to be false. Simon Bolivar himself was in favor of it. What kind of lefty are you, calling SIMON BOLIVAR and imperialist?!?

Then I boot stomp you again when you witlessly ask for an example of European powers declaring hegemony in a hemisphere (I mean seriously, how much of an idiot can you be?).

Alas, you can lead a leftist to knowledge, but you can't make it learn. How are those Che T-shirts treating you?
