Um, yeah, I didn't forget that guys.

Good to see I haven't been missing much while fangasming over Pokemon Black and White info. Thank heaven's it's just come out or the pain of not being able to play Civ 5 would be destroying me....

Anyway. Moving on.

Two issues in one turnset? This is going to be... hmmm. I suspect one is probably to do with dealing with fallout from the Copperheads now that the war is over. The second is probably some kind of diplomatic concern over Greek Poland.

COPPERHEAD RALLY IN RAVUS-YORK GOES WRONG!

Earlier this morning a mass demonstration by the radicals known as the Copperheads took place in Ravus-York, our main military command hub during the war. The Copperheads are an anti-immortal, anti-military organization that supported a white peace with Rome and the removal of the immortals from office in exchange for their new leader, Victoria. Ironically, the pro-Roman nationalist organization has almost no presence in the formerly Roman lands, with many figures there citing the Copperheads as "wild-eyed reactionary radicals".
However, the rally that took place this morning was the second-largest one in their history, second only the Inception Rally in Wales when the organization was formed. There were almost two dozen scheduled speakers, including one Jack White, who called out "Come down from your palace, Whosit! Come down and let freedom ring! Come down and let our blades take you!". If left alone, the riot would likely have petered out. Unfortunately, nearby was a unit of former soldiers in the Gallic Campaign who had been reconstituted as a military police unit preparing for deployment in Antium. The unit blew into the Copperheads in an attempt to drag White from the platform and to the nearest jail. The crowd fought back, and more MPs joined the fray. By now, the entire city is in an uproar as mobs on both sides fight while the police attempt to restore order.

The administration has yet to comment on this development.

This coming from the guy high on meth.

Well, math is a lot less worse than being hooked on phonics.

Sweet... Pokemon Black and White

Anyways, one issue has something to do with Ireland, and could result in them joining the Russo-Nordic alliance against us. I also apparently gave Lh ideas, because I guessed the issue would involve Cull (Irish hate Cull, Vikings and Russians hate Britons, Cull is a Briton, so both would hate him).

Dammit. What part of "leave the Copperheads alone" does no one seem to understand? As much as I'm tempted to quote Palpatine, I'd rather figure out a way to quell the riots with a minimum of bloodshed.

Hmmph. How long before they realise their precious Victoria is an immortal too? She is no more like them than Czar Peter! Perhaps we should show them their folly, although I imagine Father Time will do that for us if we but wait. Fools the lot of them.

As for the riots, I see no other choice but to pacify them by force.

Hey, Mr. "I'll deal with the Copperheads myself", where are you now? Hiding under a rock? :p

Very off topic: Paste javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0 into your browser's address bar. It lets you edit the page! (Really, try it)

the way LH described it to me, those soldiers are the final remains of the first assault on Antium, and some of them served through the Gallic campaign, and they saw the protest as against the END of the war by being against the one who ended it. the soldiers love Whosit, pretty much
