COPPERHEAD RALLY IN RAVUS-YORK GOES WRONG!
Earlier this morning a mass demonstration by the radicals known as the Copperheads took place in Ravus-York, our main military command hub during the war. The Copperheads are an anti-immortal, anti-military organization that supported a white peace with Rome and the removal of the immortals from office in exchange for their new leader, Victoria. Ironically, the pro-Roman nationalist organization has almost no presence in the formerly Roman lands, with many figures there citing the Copperheads as "wild-eyed reactionary radicals".
However, the rally that took place this morning was the second-largest one in their history, second only the Inception Rally in Wales when the organization was formed. There were almost two dozen scheduled speakers, including one Jack White, who called out "Come down from your palace, Whosit! Come down and let freedom ring! Come down and let our blades take you!". If left alone, the riot would likely have petered out. Unfortunately, nearby was a unit of former soldiers in the Gallic Campaign who had been reconstituted as a military police unit preparing for deployment in Antium. The unit blew into the Copperheads in an attempt to drag White from the platform and to the nearest jail. The crowd fought back, and more MPs joined the fray. By now, the entire city is in an uproar as mobs on both sides fight while the police attempt to restore order.
The administration has yet to comment on this development.
