Alright, so now that we have been forced back into discussion, can we have some serious commentary on the plans that have been set forth? Ravus proposed a series of options on page 400. I would like to know what people thought about it.

How about we ask the Ukrainians for a trade? We get Catherine and they can have ilduce to do what they like with?

Unfortunately, I doubt they'd agree. While they actually care about Catherine, they wouldn't want ilduce. He has no importance to them.

How about instead of thinking on the paths we could take people state what end product they would like to see, that way we can see how peoples hopes and desires are arrayed.

There are three main powers and two lesser ones in play.

The Russians, founders of Holy Buddhism, they have stolen Ireland from our friends and hate us. A lot.
The Vikings, Rivals who we've had a long term up and down relationship with. Probably our biggest threat.
Arabs, Aggressive infidels from the east who have attacked Russia AND India... suddenly appearing to be a threat.

Irish, they are now a government in exile. Thanks to one of our players we are sheltering them... We could one day restore their land to them but some players might want Ireland in Englands hands not theirs.
Ukrainians, a terrorist group operating within Russia. We used their aid to attack the Research facility in Russia and they could be useful in future. If we annoy them now they could become a problem if we seize Russian lands

We can't please all of these people. Diplomacy means pleasing one means making another annoyed at you for picking their enemy over them etc. So it would be nice to see what people would like after this is all over. Then we can trace our path to that result.

Personally I'd like Vikingdom as an ally now. Russia gone from Ireland and Moscow in our hands. Irish given back Ireland only if they are willing to be vassals. Ukrainians all killed so they won't be a future problem and the Arabs beaten back a bit but not killed completely.

I'd like our borders to push east enough that we could swing down into Arab lands without needing open borders with Anyone. That means I support Communism being bee-lined next election for the expansion help.

Option 1: We please the vikings and Russians.
In turn we will please our only non-vassal ally (Carthage, who is Buddhist) and Asoka (who will be a war ally)
Also best for the economy and recommended by England's best economist (For multiple reasons)

Option 2: we please the other 3. As Arabia has Korea, Egypt, Zulu and Japan as allies, we could seriously start a war between our allies and their allies if we declare war on them.
Less risky on the global scale as we will only be pissing off 3 people instead of 7. But it is also:
1. Less interesting
2. Less rewarding

If we want to win a conquest victory I recommend option 1.
If we want to win a domination victory I recommend option 1.
If we want to win a space race victory either will do, but option 1 will get us there first.
If we want to win a diplomatic victory I recommend option 2 as we will be pissing off less people.

In summary, I would like to go to war with Peter, take and hold Ireland, and own Moscow. Then we give the rest of their land to Germany, or maybe to Poland if they agree to be our vassals in exchange. Then we conquer the Vikings, take nidaros, and give the rest to the mongols to compensate for the loss of Ireland. Exterminate the Ukrainians. Then we approach India with a deal. We help them in their war if they agree to convert, and become our vassal.

If we manage to capture Catherine, I think our best bet is to offer her IC control over Moscow as governor with token military and honorary positions as a high ranking government person. Assuming she is cooperative. Oh and a lawyer in case Ilduce wants to pursue her.

Well, what I think one of the major goals should be that we do not piss of the Vikings. They are powerful, and not very predictable. We need to stay on their good side.

I would like to see Ireland out of Russian hands, if possible. It would also be wonderful if we could get the Khan as a vassal.

Arabia is shaping up to be the biggest threat to our nation. Therefore, whatever gives us the upper hand against them should be pursued. I know this is vague, but oh well.

I am a bit concerned with your advocation of genocide, Ravus. That is, unless you are referring specifically to the extremist group we are currently dealing with. Either way, eliminating them seems like it will be easier said than done.

Global Summery:

Arabia is at war with Russia, they have taken Moscow and beaten them back.

Ireland is under Russian Occupation

Viking land and their Greece vassals are suddenly opening up to talks and peace between us.

The Hindu block has fractured.
- Japan and Korea war with each other
- India is under assault from everyone, Zulu, Egypt, Arabia, Carthage, Vikings

The Zulu's have forced Egypt to become their vassals

Carthage remains quiet as always except for being bribed into declaring on India.

In effect the Arabians only have war allies. Not True allies. Just like Russia and the Vikings supported us against Rome without being friends so do Arabia war allies help them against India.

EDIT: the mutal war effot bonus slowly degrades once out of war. Once the war against india collapses his support with these other nations will go back down. Especially as Arabia is Hindu and his allies are a Buddhist and a Confucianism warlord from the south

Important Counter Espionage Information

It has come to my attention that ilduce has departed for the Ukraine himself. In some foolish attempt at gaining some "glory" for rescuing Catherine and bedding her. Wether he has taken mercenaries or some force is unknown but i would advise Aysee to act quickly. I release the Night Eagles from their domestic obligations. I will handle the continuing stratagem while they are away. They should be able to beat ilduce to Ukraine before things become unmanageable.

How can they beat me, I left yesterday at 7:10pm (When I pmed LH about this). With more then a day on the Night Eagles I will get their first. Also, what makes you think I am going for glory. I said it was a paid vacation.
