Hey there. I've been reading this thread for a little while now and would like to get involved as best I can. I will contribute more as I get used to this dynamic but i'm up for the fun this seems to be.

At the moment I will not declare my support for any party, so I shall be an independent part of the opposition until I see a party I can follow.

Greetings, TT. Welcome to the madness. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Salutations Twinkletoes. I'll refrain from my party pitch for now.

So... I watch Lawrence of Arabia, go to sleep, go to church and this happens?!?!?! Hope I didn't miss much because I am NOT going to read the backlog. (Teach me to watch 4 hour long films about Bedouins

On a related note, I change my party name to English Socialists (IngSoc)
and the party logo to this:

To be honest, you'd be best off reading the backlog. It's pretty intense. To get the whole story, read through the 50ish pages of chat too. :p (JK about the chat part)

Why IngSoc? Wouldn't it be EngSoc?

TT! ZOMG! WELCOME!

Imperial is where its it, just an FYI.

hmmm getting a little involved as well:

Arya and 9/11: Just for your information list of ongoing conflicts (source Wikipedia)
2003 Civil war in Iraq Iraq ~100,000-1,000,000
2004 War in North-West Pakistan Pakistan 30,452[8]
2006 Mexican Drug War Mexico More than 28,000[9]
2009 Sudanese nomadic conflicts Sudan ~2,500

So please stop whining about 9/11 I personally can't hear it anymore.

The whole presidency issue: It is rather shamfull that a person doesn't even get a chance to proove himself.
Besides if everyone is at war and foccusing on this; there is good chances of catching up by foccusing on science. (especially as we do not have that many Units when I got it rightly) .

Twinkeltoe: I'm happy there is another independent guy around ;)
Whosit: good luck in this case for your presidency

1) - I think that 9/11 has been harped on by the media a little too much, but we do need to show some respect for the people that died.

2) - Actually Ilduce gave up the presidency because he learned that his reason for not trusting Whosit with it was bogus. He wanted Whosit to choose whether or not he wanted to be president, but Whosit wanted Ilduce to choose. Then the Big Bad GM stepped in and flipped a coin on it. The rest is history . . . .

Respect is one thing repeting it doesn't make it better.... Rest in peace and leave us in peace (a topic I can't stand at all, the focusing of America on their poor souls dying on 9/11 when the world has much worse problem and much worse conflicts)

It's not about why he stepped down but the general misstrust he had before even beginning which did somewhat disturb me...
