Czechoslovakia was the only eastern country with a real democratic goverment. After Poland was taken by USSR Czechoslovakia was held in it's troat. Anytime now the reds could invade the Czechs and Slovakians and terrorize their lands like they did in Poland. But if it ever comes to this the Czechs and Slovakians will fight to the bitter end. They loved their freedom, and their economic grouth and USSR will never take it from them.
There was an idea in Czechoslovakia to join the EDL as an ally against the USSR, but this will only make USSR angry and will make them invade Czechoslovakia faster... The Czechs decided to try and remain as neutral as they can.
And neutral they were! Among the partied one kept on growing, the communist one. It was said this party was feeding from USSR propeganda... and when that party became the strongest it did nothing to the country! The czecoslovakians were the first with a democratic socialist goverment!
