Mmmh. I'm a big proponent of getting rid of any state that's not big enough to be noticed without a legend. Also, I think the less countries we have, the better.
So:

Everything that speaks English, should be part of the United States (especially England!)
Everything that speaks French, should be part of France.
Everything that speaks German, should be part of Germany.
Everything that speaks Spanish? Spain!
And so on.
Regional dialects (catalan, basque, occitan, gaelic) should be laughed at and ignored.

In Africa, all national boundaries should be removed, and after 50 years, once the dust has settled, we can start drawing lines again, hoping they make more sense than the current one.

2. Kurdistan gains Independence.
3. A secular and multi-ethnic state of Canaan is set up over israel, west bank, gaza and lebanon.
4. Cyprus is an independent country encompassing all of the island of yprus, giving equal rights to both turkish and greek ethnicities.
5. Sudan is divided between arab north and african south, seeing as they cant seem to get along.
6. Eritrea and Ethiopia are united.
7. Ahwaz province is ceded by Iran to Arabia.
8. kurdish majority areas in eastern iran ceded to Kurdistan.
9. Canary Islands are given independence to appease morocco.

any thoughts? not sure what to do with the Berbers...

Reminds me of The Netherlands, Belgium and Limburg, a province of the NL. It's common knowledge that should Limburg be given to Belgium, the average IQ of both the NL and Belgium would increase

What a cruddy map. Out of all the countries which could obtain a muslim majority due to immigration, the Scandanivian countries don't cut it? I would have thought they'd be considered first.

And Moorish Emirate of Iberia? Why not something like Al-Andalus or the Caliphate of Cordoba?

i think i had moldova instead of moldavia. as for the excessive independence, as an irishman i kind of have sympathy for small coutries still under foreign rule.
