I've always lived in suburbs or near big cities, where people speak with a generic US accent (albeit with a lot of y'all thrown in).

Honestly its interesting, but all the opinion polls are painting a pretty clear picture of this failing. if it looked more like it was actually going to succeed I imagine there would be a bit more interest.
