Well, it's only fair that the Unionists get to make their case, too. :mischief:

I don't think "wasp" as a term has any relevance in the british isles.
More of an American thing.

Yeah, outside of Scotland I don't think anyone really cares about it :dunno:.

Honestly its interesting, but all the opinion polls are painting a pretty clear picture of this failing. if it looked more like it was actually going to succeed I imagine there would be a bit more interest.

Strange if true. This is about cutting the wings off a permanent member of the UN security council, threatening the nuclear deterrent of the US's key western ally and introducing a new state (albeit a relatively small one) likely to oppose many US interests such as its Middle East foreign policy. For the EU it will cut through the political equilibrium, disfigure and weaker the leader of the anti-German group of EU states (Sweden, Netherlands, east), and encourage secession among many currently existing 'national' sub-units.

It's CFC, brah. You've been here long enough to know what to expect.

Except they'll be king! Unless they make a federation.

In that case, it won't be too long until ancestors of the Stuarts decide to beg people on the 'net for money, just like Nigerian royalty has to do...

After independence, unification with Ireland AND Northern Ireland - good idea or bad idea ???

After all, the first Scottish Kingdom - Dal Riata - was also located on both islands.
I don't think anyone is proposing anything like that.
I can't see any benefit for any of the proposed members.
