Release date and pricing leak?

Sounds plausible.

There better be more to the deluxe edition than 5 days early access.

Early access has become a pretty standard deluxe edition feature (Starfield did it, and AoM Retold is doing it as well), but it's never the sole or main draw. I'd expect X number of DLC (or season pass or whatever), hopefully the soundtrack--and maybe some minor cosmetic, which seems to be becoming a popular thing again for some reason. (Plus the usual day one DLC for preordering, like Civ5 Babylon and Civ6 Aztecs.)

The prices seem to be only console, so curious if they'll be the same for PC.
They're in line with current AAA PC prices; I would expect them to be accurate.

I miss getting a box with cool maps and stuff.

I'm going to assume an early DLC civ like the previous couple of games. Of course it will be free for other players later.

I presume that will be the preorder bonus again, whether you order standard or deluxe. That's been Civ's model in the past.

.That was a pre-order bonus, not part of the Deluxe.

Is the PC pricing going to be $69.99? That seems pretty high. And the game better be complete.
Again, that's normal AAA pricing for a new PC game these days.

While interesting, this is something I (or most people here) could also just make up.
Indeed, it sounds plausible because of course that's what games cost and the date is safely inside the window that the earnings call leaked. Early access is also a safe bet because other AAA games have been doing it.

Really? I seem to remember that Victoria III and Crusader Kings III were $50 or maybe $60 at launch, not $70. I expect civ7 to be around $60. $70 seems high to me.
Those games were a long time ago. For the past couple years, $70 has been standard, e.g., Starfield, Jedi: Survivor, etc.

TBH I'd just make up my own prediction right now, but I'm sure that would lead to the next 20 posts having 20 different dates and roughly 5 different prices in it as well .
