Start building a Wonder in a city, now I have to swap in my 2 Marbles and swap out my Spices and Silk (but then where should I put them... do I want to rearrange some other cities in this cascade)
Repeat the above for when the Wonder is done (the 2 Marbles will just sit unassigned)

Partly, they have dealt with this scenario by making wonder-building and unit-improving resources empire-wide.

But yes, you probably still want to shuffle gold, or food/production-producing resources. However, that should be either very punctual, or more long-term.

Gold as "a resource that improves gold yield", not as "the Gold resource".

Yeah, the only "shuffling" I see wanting to do on a regular basis is re-allocating them when you get access to a new one. Because then I'll want the new culture boosting wonder in this city, which will move this other resource that I guess I could put over there. But maybe if I swap 2 tiles around, it would be better in this other town...

Exploration Age Stream: Ivory was an Imperial resource during Antiquity, but a Bonus resource in Exploration Age (+3 Happiness, +3 Production).

I also noticed that the Gypsum that gave distinct amount of yields for Capital and other Cities in Antiquity gives distinct amount of yields for Homeland Cities and Distant Land Cities.
