As Egypts indebted freind i go to war with them and send the Cossacks on a Crusade against India.

OOC comes first today because there are a lot of things to say.
First off, Germany and the Viking Empire are being changed to NPC because of a lack of posts. 1 day will be given for them to post or they will be availible for anyone who wants them.
Secondly, two new stats will be added to nations' stats. The first one i am adding now. his will be Alliances, and Enemies. The Enemy list, even if not at war, will be lasting enemies until somehow the situation changes. The second one will be added upon the discovery of monothesism, which by the way has just occured. This is religion. Within the next 2 days be sure to post what religion you wish to be. Also, for Christain nations only, there will be elections for a pope, much in the same way as the elections for UN in Civ3. The pope will support or condem actions by Christain nations, as well as being leader of his own nation. Whoever is elected the pope can declare crusades, meddle in other people's national affairs (just PM me), or declare that a nation is unholy and must be attacked. Only the leaders of the 3 most powerful nations can be voted for. As a benefit, Christain civs if attacked are usually supported by Christain NPC nations. Or as another option if you dont want the influence of the Church, you can create your own religion (based on RL religions of course).
Finally, (right here was going to clear up someones *cough*SKILORD*cough* confusion).

Babylon: The captains of the 3 ships that were to take out the Government and some people have given the government one last chance to flee to the rumored land across the Western Ocean.
Egypt: In recent elections, thanks to the Sinai's party's failure to defeat Eithiopia in any major battles, the Sinai party is continuously losing support amongst the people. No one knows what may happen because of this.
Spain: Spainish scholars develop a new defense against mounted assualt calling it a pike, Spain enters the Classical Age. Army upgraded without loss of men.
Germany: no events of note
Russia: Russian scholars develop the concept of monothesism leading the world to a new age of religion. Russian scolars also develop a pike based on infromation from Spain. Russia enters the Classical Age
Viking Empire: massive conscription of men enlarges the Viking army.
England: Massive populatikn increase allows the government to settle even more land. Just say wehre you want to settle, in Africa only, at maximum 3 places.

I used to triple the size of Ethiopia, not to mention how many more people i have in the Nile Valley, and hoe much more resources I have, and the patriotism of my people, and the strategies I post, but still I lose land to Ehtiopia? What about my naval battle in the red sea that should have cut most if not all of Ethiopia's armies from returning home to help fight? Remember, i attacked when Ehtiopia was attacking the strongest nation in the world. I dont agree with the battle results. If this keeps happening, and Egypt hasn't even discovered Iron yet, despite all the times I have said we are researching it (when, mind you, some people get it when they dont even say they research it) then I will have to quit this nes, its not worth my time if EVERY war i get into i lose.

All right, time to clear some things up. First of all, Toasty i have read your posts and you ought to read mine. I say that becuase Rome surpirse attacked and took it a while back, then quickly declared unilateral peace. You can still be at war with them if you want, but i wouldn't suggest it.
Second, SKILORD, you armies lose ground only in the initial combat, i garentee you will be regaining it fairly quickly. Against the Vikings you only lost ground as the result as it was a surprise attack. Also in Civ 3 doea
Jason the King, I guess it is kind of stupid to keep you in the Bronze Age for so freaking long, everyone (except North American civs) will enter the Iron age now. Same that went for SKILORD goes for you, With all the support from Rome, Spain, and England, Egypt is most surely pushing the Eithiopians back. Naval battle results are coming in now.
Revolutionary, sorry about forgetting the Ivory Coast orders, but i have had very busy days recently and with Homecoming coming up next week will have even busier days ahead.
Warman, feel free to join as Rome, for an NES this one is relatively uncomplicated, so it is a good place to start.

Emperors' Alliance pushed back on all fronts! Babylonian troops have won a magnificent victory over combine Indian and Eithiopian troops with armies more than 4 times Babylon's army's size. In the north, Russian troops counterattack and push back the Vikings occupying most of the Vikings' Eastern expansion. In Egypt, Eithiopian forces have been pushed mostly out of Egypt and back to their capitol. In the Red Sea the combined Indian and Eithiopian fleets defeated the Eygptian armada there, Eithiopia's supply route remains open.
In Rome, a new emperor named Warman was elected by the Church.
In southern Africa, scattered Zulu tribes combine to form the Zulu Confederation.
Most of world enters Iron Age as the technology for it has become cheaper and scientists have become better trained (remember, those of you just entering the Iron Age must upgrade.
Eithiopia tries to leave war. As a result Eithiopia's Eastern colonies revolt calling themselves the Arab Confederation.

China: Mongol raids prevent expansion to the West. Ship driven far off course runs into a people calling themselves the Zulu. China is the only with contact with the Zulu, use it wisely.
Babylon: With increasing morale, more people join the army and navy. Priests convert the people to Christianity.
Egypt: Army upgraded to Iron Age.
Zulu Confederation: Welcome! Your people are in the Bronze Age and all other stats are on page 1.
Rome: Welcome! All of Rome's current stats are on page 1.
Spain: many fishermen increase the size of Spains navy by two levels.
England: In an act of patriotisism many fishermen join the navy and increase the size by 1.

The soldiers were in shock. They have been trained all their lives thinking Zulu Impi were the finist soldiers in the world.

The Zulu army screamed and marched into battle.

Egypt's Iron mines in the south begin to expand from military use. Egypt is now upgrading its army.
I again have writers block, and cant htink of anythign new to write about. Sorry.

Give the people news that once their government is destroyed, Egypt will only take 1/2 of the territory, and pending that Ehtiopia switches to a republic, will allow Ehtiopia to remain a nation with keeping a small army. All proteciton forces will be provided by Egypt.
