German Liberals Win Elections!
The German Liberal Party has won the German national elections in a massive upset. The Conservative party's fall from power all seems to have started with WWVI, many German people were against the war from the begining and the continued indecisiveness of the Government in failing to act had angerd many voters. Also many people in Germany agree with Liberal leader Jon Wolf about ending Conscription in Germany.
Mr.Wolf now holds the title of Chancellor of Germany, one of the most powerful positions in the World.
Liberals Announce New Military Reform Bill
The German Liberal Party has today finally ended Conscription in Germany. The move will mean that millions of German men will no longer have to serve a mandatory spell in the Army meaning more people available to work in Industry and Science. Chancellor Wolf said the act would also half military spending and allow more to be spent on Science, education, health and transport.
The bill does state though that in the event of crisis the Chancellor can introduce Conscription to allow the German army to defend Germany from an aggressive enemy.
Science And Education Spending Doubled!
Chancellor Jon Wolf has announced that Science and education spending will be doubled to increase the effectiveness of German business in the world market and to allow Germany to research technology withwhich to defend herself.
European Union To Be Created In Vienna
The German Chancellor has announced that he intends to spear-head the creation of an Union of European states dedicated towards the development of fair trade and peace within Europe. Mr.Wolf called the idea a step in the right direction towards securing Peace and prosperity throughout Europe and a way of bringing Europe closer together.
The Chancellor has stressed that the Union is not a military alliance and only aims to provoke discussion and debate over crucial world issues.
The following nations are invited to join the EU:
The United Kingdom
Portugal
France
Russia
Greece
Turkey
This will make six members plus Germany, we want to also encourage the creation of a European Parliament, somewhere where crucial decisions regarding the whole of Europe can be made.
