Empirelist Come back!

The empirelist party had a come back in recent elections. Almost 40 seats were gained by the party as a man named Octavious campaigned for them. Kniown as the richest man in Rome he owns 30% of private Roman shipping. His millions of denari proved helpful. Octavian's ancestor was once the emperor of Rome and he wished to become the new emperor. He also wanted to restore the former Romen glory.

RTS SPLITS!!!

The Romen Trade and Security Party split months before the election, contributing to the Empirelist comeback. The militants wanted to give aid to Egypt while the Commercial's didn't. The result was the break of the RTS and rerise of the Empirelists. Only 25 Militants recieved seats while 30 Commercial members got seats.

Comercial Emperor!

The Pax Romana recieved the last 30 seats. With three parties able to get an Emperor and two of them equal it would be up to the Militant party to decide. Many Militants wern't happy with the break up and most voted Commercial. In the end there was a Commercial Emperor.

Octavian walked into the main hall of the Empirelist Building. It was rundown for the last few decades but Octavian's funds fixed that up. Octavian wanted to become Emperor more then anything. He risked the Sicilian Shipping Company(his company) over it.

He talked with the Senate majority leader. A large meeting was being held with the top members of the Empirelist party. Octavian was the governor of Sicily. The meeting was to talk about the Egyptian problem. 12 members of the senate was also there.

Octavian left the meeting discouraged. He wasn't listened to by his fellow Empirelists. Something that wouldn't happen if he was emperor. He had a great economic plan but the governor of Carthage called him a Commercial member. It made him mad. This would not happen again after the next election.

carl marks yesterday anounced elections, suprosly he won! but desided to stay a democracy with a comunist economy.
the nation called Freedom for China and Korea is eastabelished as a full democracy with comunist economy. (the best economy that was supose to be)

The korean in ocupied china have called japan to leave them to china as china promised a free nation in there.

IC: The fact that New England had retreated into isolationism had not surprised Prime Minister Chamberlain at all. He was aware that the New English were becoming increasingly dissalusioned by the outside worlds, and were becoming weary of trying to be the worlds beacon of freedom.
Apparently they had decided to simply give up on the world.
He also heard of his counterpart in Boston's retirement, and suddenly the idea of retiring appealed to him very much.

Weeks later, the UK was a nation in moarning, the King Henry had died, and his daughter Victoria had taken the throne.
With retirement of his good Friend Consul Huron, and his other friend George Washington also in retirement, and the death of his noble King. Chamberlain felt that he had reached the end of the time he was able to give to his country.
He realised life was to short to spend in servitude to king and country, and announced his retirement in the wake of the Kings death.
Needless to say the news goes down like a lead balloon with the people of the UK, and many are quite upset.
But it is accepted and elections are called.

Liberal Party= 27%
Conservative Party= 44%
National UK Party= 29%

Prime Minister Chamberlains Liberal Party scores the lowest votes in its history and are surpassed both by the Conservatives and the Nationalists.
The Conservatives however are victorious and form the Government of the UK.

Lord Walter Scott leads the Conservative party and as a result he becomes the new UK Prime Minister.

Francois de Britagne was of a gentlemanly stature, though he had come from a working-class peasantry family. His nation was a great example of how any man, woman, or child could become a 'somebody'--that all men really were created equal.

Parliament had a rather large seating, represented by population in the nation. About 140 seats were represented, 82 of which were owned by de Britagne's Liberté Partie, representing the libertarian left. While Francois had made a bit of a blunder with his strong opposition to the United Kingdom's aggressive ways internationally, he had recieved scores of popularity at home. It was fully expected that the Liberté Partie (LP) would take another 6 seats in the upcoming election.

Parliament elections were every other year, and Presidential elections every fourth. Britagne's only major opposition, the Partie Conservateur (PC), currently held 43 seats in Parliament. However, they had gained much ground against the Collégial Partie (CP), representing the Authoritarian Left of the nation, which now rested at 13 seats, falling from their former pinnacle of 51 in the Second World War. It was not known what would come of the party, perhaps they might gain back their momentum that they found during wartime (which now loomed dangerously on the horizon), but their domestic fumbling was their undoing.

Francois now rested his power in what looked like an oncoming war between France against the United Kingdom and the New England Republic. Whether France would find help among the Conservative hardliners in the Roman Imperialist party or the religious figureheads in Russia was unclear...

I honestly do not see how it can...The UK has never in its long history made an aggressive move towards France. Not now not ever. And If memory serves we were one of the first nations to throw our support behind an independent France.
It appears as if you are in fact the aggressor here. You threatened to attack us, and when we officially end our alliance with you you threaten us again. And you say WE are the aggressors?
Im sorry but i simply do not understand that. Perhaps you would like to enlighten me?

May I remind your esteemed Tsar that we have never broken our word once it was given, we are not about to start now.
France on the other hand has broken their word on a few occasions, such as preparing to attack Germany before the world war 3 when they had a NAP and threatening to attack us for invading you.
Now we agree that our invasion was an aggressive act, but they were supposed to be our ally and they threatened us. What does that say about their word?

Tsar Vladmir VIV looked down at his correspondence, it had been a long reign, he rubbed his weary eyes. The troops reported from the front in Scandinavia, the Vikings would become an independent state again, the UK would be broken down to it's base parts. He smiled, dreaming of a world free from the UK's grip. New England, he reminded himself, also offered a goal in Alaska, he had to send some troops there as well.
 
The Irish people had been living under the boots of conquerers since the very first World War, they were tired of living that way, and in Dublin a man has risen to help them, Issac McCrath has become the0 commander in cheif of the Irish Freedom Army. We have a backer, a foreign nation helpin us, but they made us promise not to tell :rolleyes:
