Prime Minister Canute wasnt pleased. Not Pleased at all.
His prized Viking Navy had been shattered, and he was now face with a difficult choice, upgrade the army to chivalry age tech or raise it too large.

-Upgrade army and navy to chivalry age.
-Use aid from India and France to maintain army size at medium. (I should be able to do that EQ cause they both agree to help me upgrade.

OOC: Spain is the pope not me, give the message to him

The Roman senate had been won over by the empirelists this election. The war in Africa would syop and the pre-war borders be the same. The Army would need to be enlarged or upgraded to a new age if possible. The empirelists did not want to buy the age so they joined up with the tommarow party, gaining an extra 3 seats in senate. It wouldn't be very hard to get the technology.

The Army meanwhile would be recalled back to europe. With increased tensions the border army with Germany was increased. If a conflict ensued the Romans would be ready.

Orders:

Research new age(shouldn't be hard, I trade with Spain and Russia)

Increase Amry size

Increase amount of troops on German border
Send 2/3 of Navy(equal to Large size) to North sea. This time to stop a German invasion of Vikingland.

To Germany:

Stand down your troops. The French are your ally aswell as mine. If you do not we will have no choice but to consider you a traitor and will be kicked out of the Catholic alliance. You can go ahead against the Vikings but the French are another matter. And remember the French are Viking allys.

To Russia:

We no longer house the pope. That is Spain's job. I agree with you on the German matter. If they continue to be aggressive we will declare war on them.

To Vikingland:

If the Germans invade you we will completly back you. As a result if Germany attacks you Rome would like to offer you a seat in the Catholic powers alliance. If you agree we will have to see if France and Spain agree to the alliance.

Rumor has it that they are recieving goods and military supplies from another nation to continue the war. England agrees to the Germans' proposal of an alliance and they form the Channel Alliance.

Storms wreck havoc in the Pacific! with a massive group of storms almost all trade and colonization in the PAcific has been stopped.
