From the journals of Ryo Rida, the fourth president of the United Federation of Japan:
October 9, Year 24 of our glorious Federation.
Ah, my journal. What a comfort it has been for these past 6 years. Alas, it comes to an end. The new elections have begun, and as I feared, Chi Tatakau has been elected. Already he has announced his plans to annex the island of Taiwan into our Federation, although perhaps annex is too strong a term. The Taiwanese themselves have come to us asking to join us, and we have gratefully accepted. They do not have much to offer, but it is something, and more is always welcome.
In our tradition, the forthcoming president gets one order in before actually becoming the official president. Today, albeit not reluctantly, he and I jointly signed a plan to mobilize many troops, in case of need for battle. This will be done, and for once, I actually agree with Chi that we need to prepare for any eventualities. Manchuria has placed Siberia and Korea under their control, and we see this as an overtly aggressive fear tactic. This is why we have mobilized our troops, as a precaution.
Secretly, I have ordered my scientists and contractors to begin work on a "superweapon", something that would be able to keep the peace, just by its being mentioned.
Ah, back to Taiwan for a moment. I met with their leader, and he promised to talk with the Dreagonsong people about our wonderful new partnership -- he confided partnership with an exaggerated wink. I must get to talking with their leader sometime soon as well.
I have also sent a communication to Manchuria asking them for their reasoning behind their aggressive moves. Perhaps some mutual understanding can be made.
At the same time I did that, I also sent out a global communication looking for trade. Perhaps more countries, besides the Egyptians and the Greeks, will be interested in trade.
This is my final entry into the presidential journal.
It has been a great tradition of the presidents so far to write these journals, in the hopes that historians of later years will read them, and understand the great, yet welcome, burden upon being the leader of such a wonderful country.

Victory in New Guinea Day was celebrated yesterday all across the Republic of Antipode Fauna, from Sydney to Perth.
The Parade was immortalized in this piece of contemporary art
PM Hops made his first public appearance since the failed assassination attempt by the human terrorist organization FMA. He rode in the Presidential Automobile in the lead of the Victory Parade in Can-of-Berries. Sadly, since the appearance of the FMA, no public event has occurred without a sense of fear of what could happen. The Parade was no exception, with heightened security all throughout Can-of-Berries because of a bomb threat. But the bomb threat was a decoy, with the real bomb going off at Perth City Hall, killing several animals and injuring dozens. The prime suspect of the bomb attack is Charles Alaru, an Aboriginal janitor working in the building. He has been arrested and brought to the Supreme Court.

Charles Alaru has pleaded not-guilty, and instead of being executed, a human-rights group forced the judge to give him a life-sentence. Because he is such a high security risk, he will not be shipped off anywhere. PM Hops has ordered all humans to be moved to "Human Settlements", known throughout RAF as "human ghettos".
(If nobody got it, I'm trying to make the RAF become like Apartheid South Africa, with Charles Alaru being Mandela [that is actually a picture of Mandela])

Great Pharaoh, I have noticed something - we seem to not have any of the forces we recruited last year, in addition to having 11 less "Leadership Points" (at least that's what the R&D guys call them - I should probably cut their recreation budget) than we were supposed to!

Er, yes, anyway, our plan of spamming infra seems to be working. We are officially the second richest nation, only losing to some guys who actually do stuff rather than argue in pink and blue text. However, we only have about 24 unit's worth of... units. Should I start ordering random gods into them in case we are attacked?
Nah, I'll just sign a defensive pact with someone and mooch off of them. The Untrustworthy Union of Sicily sounds dependable enough.

During the last elections, several non-Ugandans were turned down at the ballot, this issue was fixed, although the Uganda National Party opposed this as they thought that foreigners would destroy the country.

After the death of the bulgarian king, the serbs, under bulgarian control, revolted. Their war of indepedence lasted 3 months. Our army at first supported the rebels. But after serbia became indepedent they attacked, for no reason, our troopers and stole some of the newly created shootguns. The unit XIV was under my command during the attack but we were ordered to reatreat. The reason is that 100 shootguns were created. It was the first time that this weapon was used by greek army. 100 shootguns took 2 years to be created but now the greek gonverment gave more money and workers so shootguns will be completed more fast. So we were given shootguns and ordered to go to help General Paulos and crush the serbs.
1 week later we went to the serbian front. The general Paulos was fighting with 300 swordmen against 20.000 archers, 200 cavalymen, 5.000 swordmen and 40 cannons. The arrows maked the day night. It was 13:40 and it was like night with 20.000 arrows heading toward General Paulos and his soldiers. The serbian general asked general Paulos to give him his weapons and the plans for the creation of shootguns. After that he will let the greek army to leave alive he said. General Paulos answear was going to be writen in history. He answeared <<< If you want our weapons come and get them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>> << So be it. Soldiers attacked them>> the serbian general replied.
When general Paulos saw me he said << What!??!!! The gonverment sended only 100 troops to help me against an army of 30.000 !????!!!!!!>> << General,we may be only 100 men but we have shootguns!>> i replied. General Pulos was realy happy.
As the 5.000 serbia swordmen headed to the 300 greek swordmen, i with my 100 troopers attacked them. Our shootguns destroyed their army. The swords were no much to the shootguns. So 100 greeks defeated 5.000 swordmen. After that the 300 greek swordmen and my unit attacked the archers. Our shootguns killed the serbian army to the last man. At the sme time an army of 700 bulgarian guerilas managed to destroy the 40 serbian cannons. The serbs with only 200 cavalymen and outnumbered, retreated.
Our invasion in serbia continued. 2 months later army after army the serbians had hundred of loses and were deafeted,. Meanwhile the broter of the bulgarian king took the the trone. His name was Samuil. Samuil attacked north serbia, the same time that the greek army was attacking north serbia, and claimed the territory for the serbian kingdom. Samuil with an army of 500.000 men attacked 1.000 serbians. The serbians were deafeted. Their capital was burned and the bulgarians did thousand of atrocities.
The greek army took over the rest of the serbia the same time that back in greece the Imperial party won the election and talked to the senate about the plans to restore the byzantine empire. The greek army would take over the balkans and then they will restore the greek glory in the east.
Our soldiers openly revolted to this. They wanted to go home, to see their familys. General Paulos had no choice. He said that he will meet the rebels in the army. As the general and the rebeled army were taliking about how to stop the war, he had sended a secret order to commander George. George took 700 archers and killed 5.000 unarmed soldiers. Paulos later told me that he was hurt because of this but he couldnt let a rebelion to happen. In times of war no one should have other opinion than that of the gonverment. Facist ideas i thought. Does this war realy becomes because of bulgarian and serbian aggresion or the gonverment with all thse wars trys to transform the greek republic to a facist state. If this happen i will rise up with my entire army.
