No. Annexation is when you take over land from another country regardless of whether you are at war or not.

If you sign the treaty of Cairo, accepting the conquest of Maryland and returning all my prewar land, then we can have peace.

The fact that your nation made it easy to take 20% of it in one swoop doesn't bode well. The fact is that the Hegemony has a larger army, larger navy, and over 10 hydrogen bombs not to mention +30 atomic bombs. 10 Hydrogen bombs can destroy 40 armies right off the bat.

Maryland never attacked Khitan nor the Soviet Union. The Soviets blitz through Maryland North Africa unopposed. Again, we're willing to negotiate away the large chunk of Maryland Africa still left but we wish to restore the North America Maryland. Either that is done in where Maryland used to be or we'll simply expand coast to coast, recreate Maryland using all of the American Federation former "Northeastern Federation" territory while, at the same time, taking California and establishing Fascist Canada.

We're willing to pay LPs to even buy back former Maryland territory in North America.

So, I can either be Egypt, semi-betray Maryland, and not really have any power for the rest of the game, or I can not be Egypt, be exiled with Maryland, and have literally have no power for the rest of the game.

well... i miscalculated. a lot. couldn't the League and every other nuclear power just post how many weapons they have? so i don't vastly underestimate them...

No. You will be allowed to do what you desire in Africa and recreate your state their instead of in Arabia. What lot your nation takes from this point shall be up to you. The USSR will have to say what happens to the land they own, though we're sure they are willing to compromise.

Because in the end, they won't live in exile. A treaty that reestablishes Maryland will end the war because we are willing to cede a few points to reestablish North American Maryland.

No. The alternative to the stated deal is that we destroy a 160 of your armies now and send your LP production for next year to 0 (we have that many bombs after all). If it comes to that, you will lose the war.

We do not want any Federation territory save for the Great Lakes region and even then, we'll give that back to cover the costs you returning Maryland.

We're not forcing it completly in our favor. We just noticed that by forcing Maryland, a nation which ALL its core territory is in North America, to exile in Africa isn't going to do anything other then start another war in less than a decade. Again, the American Federation, since it did not declare war on Egypt but just Maryland, clearly just jumped in to be jumping in and if Maryland had been Nordia, it wouldn't even had mattered.

Don't use the "but there's so much territory" line on us when Khitan stretches from Port Arthur to the Sinai right now.

How about this as an alternative? The American Federation can keep their taken territory and we can keep what we took and we'll establish a new Maryland in Canada. Along with the world recognizing the Hegemony, we'll be fine with that deal as well for the time being.
