Anyway...update time! Maya goes and takes a city away from Portugal. While that happens, the Vikings also declare war on Portugal

Maybe I spoke to soon about Egypt. First, Ethiopia rises from the ashes. Then, Ethiopia becomes vassaled to Egypt. Then, Egypt goes into Civil war and is eliminated. Then Ethiopia became vassaled to England. And it all happened in 1 turn!

Hmm...I was supposed to update this 24 hours ago. Oh well, let's continue along

So we have the Congress!!! All I need to remember is who my allies are (right now my main ally is Russia). Let's see if the outcome was positive for me:

Easy start, Ottoman's want an Indian city. I choose "Yes"

Joao want's a barbarian city by the name of Qusqu. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's the remains of the Incans. I vote "Yes"

Mansa Musa want's a Spanish city. First off, I hate you Mansa Musa. Second, I like the Spanish. I vote "No". (It was also this time that I realized Spain was not invited to join Congress)

My Russian pals want an independent city. Most people abstain the vote while my rivals Elizabeth and Mansa Musa vote "No". Obviously, I voted "Yes"

And now it's my turn! Let's look at what we have here...Russia and Spain are my friends and China is way too far away. That leaves London!!!

But have I made enough friends to capture the English capital of London for free? (Correction, London lost it's palace when the Vikings captured it a long time ago. It's still a nice city, though)

Congress sure went well! Every vote went in my favor! It's nice to have good friends, right? London is a great spot to attack England from, but there is one slight problem. I need 4 turns for my galleons to reach Corinth to pick up my army or drop any extra unit's in London. Can I prevent an attack from England in 4 turns? London is gone if they attack me before the galleons reach Corinth, I can guarantee you that.

Cool update. This story gets even cooler when you realize that the German Empire (or at least its oldest, largest cities like Mykenai and Corinth) is probably Graecophone.
