A broader view on the French Mainland (Francia, Bretagne, Pyreneés-Provence, Lotharingia, Danubia) and Overseas Regions - French Guyana, French West Africa, French Malvinas and French Caribe (L'Isle de Henri IV)
French demographics, compared to the rest of the world - the portrait of a great power.
Proven conquest on the grounds of economy, society and might - a good standing among the developed countries.
European close view, centering the French Mainland, with drawn borders.
European broader view with drawn borders. Note the Ottoman expansion to Europe, prominent but well-counteres by their european neighbors (France, Russia and Scandinavian Republic). Note the "independent" Greece and the Spanish expansion over Portugal and Algarves - a move which forced the Portuguese seat of power to be moved to Southern Africa.
France is clearly the dominant Central European power, the most important element in the European balance of power between its powerful neighbors. The Scandinavian Republic serves as an important buffer between the Russian and French interests over Eastern Europe (despite the clear pro-French stance of the Scandinavian foreign policy)
Even broader view, encompassing the whole Old World. Note the Portuguese Colonial Empire (Territórios de Ultra-Mar), now representing the bulk of the Portuguese nation, governed from Sofala in Mozambique (the most developed Portuguese land). Note the Ottoman expansion - even after the Persian and Greek breakaways, the Ottoman Empire still looks great. In the Far North, Russia expands fairly across Eastern Siberia (until the Pacific Ocean)
The American Scenario. The United States of America, which grew fast from the English Thirteen Colonies to their great modern extent, spanning over almost the whole North America (minus the Aztlan lands in easternmost southern coast, the Japanese American enclave in the East Coast and some british lands in the far north), and standing as one of the Great Powers.
In the South, the Spanish and Portuguese lands prevail, forming much of the territorial extent of these nations - also appears here most of the French Colonial Empire (Guyana, Caribe and Malvinas)
The Asian Scenario. Russia owns all Northern Asia and Siberia, spanning from the urals to the Pacific. The absence of a great central nation in the East Asia gave way from both the thriving of formerly minor nations (like Japan, Khmer and Mongolia) and to the access of external powers (like the Ottoman possession in the Eastern Asia). India, just reborn, still faces its land divided among other nations (like Ottomans and Arabs)
The African Scenario. Egypt and Mali dominate the Northern Africa, but none of them ever thrived to a great power, always being vassals to expernal powers. Note the foreign expansion in Southern Africa - Portuguese, French, Spanish and English territories develop there, being sources of important resources to their master countries. Some large territories, like Madagascar, never attracted international interest and were just left to dereliction, being haven to illegal activities and break-away "governments".
