With Prussia's 2nd UHV, how are you supposed to conquer or collapse cities from nations that don't exist anymore?

In my game Sweden got destroyed pretty early before I even really met them. Now Germany is gone - I even took part in the destruction , so that the French and the Kalmar Union didn't get everything to themselves.

Yes, I thought about that too. And another problem is Prussia doesn't have enough solid and OK land (stability-wise). So if you chose to conquer two cities of Spain, you will grow unstable.

Yeah, the Spain objective seems quite hard to achieve to me, unless you are lucky and Spain collapses. If you aren't friendly with France, it's a long way down there ... and seriously, Prussia won't be friendly with France. ;) Concerning the stability though Prussia seems an even better warmonger than France - you just gotta love the extra stability from Public schools: easily the best building in RFCE++.

Because if you could then the AI could, and then everyone would just vote for themselves. This would all but guaruntee the Germans constantly winning, this also means you have to have a bit more finnesse to earn the votes.

As Burgundy, I am the most powerful civ among the voting members, yet my vassal (Genoa) gets to be Emperor since he is the ONLY other HRE civ? And immediately he asks for troops?

The mechanic is broken i think. While I agree that everyone would just vote for themselves, perhaps we limit the vote to the 2 or 3 largest members?

I love the concept, just wish it could be organized better.

How quickly are attitude points gained with Franc eplaying as Sctoland? France collapsed around 1000 and I've played up to 1300 and they still haven't respawned. Is it possble to still compelte the second UHV?

Just played Dutch and cash rushed Cop.Obs. I should get 1 free specialist per town, but got none. Is this a known problem?

Hey all! I'm currently playing as the Norwegians and the second UHV is giving me some trouble. I conquered all my islands except "The Isles" and built Vinland by around 1030. I figured I could just hold them until 1263 to secure my second UHV. However, I collapsed in 1100 and lost my holdings in Iceland, Ireland, UK and Denmark. My stability was -15 at that point. I've gone to -80 as France and had no problem, so this was something new. How do I achieve this second UHV? Do I wait until right before 1263 to start to conquer? And then maybe give away the cities to Scotland? They're my vassal. Thanks for any help!

I found it hard as Prussia to achieve the 2nd UHV without winning a domination victory. I finally barely made it .... but I was only 0.3% below the population cap for Domination and already over the land mass cap. I would not have made it if Spain hadn't taken 2 french cities in the Pyrenee passes, which allowed me to fulfill that objective without gaining too much population. I could have been even bigger, if I hadn't been careful.

How does the Moroccan UP work? Having started my first game as them i don't see any benefit from desert. The Oasis near Marrakesh is just three food and one commerce.

Same problem. Moroccan UP doesn't work. Tried reload and new start, nothing helped. I know it worked in the previous version :(

I just had an issue loading a save game. It said something like "this is version 303, you are loading 302 instead." Not sure what to do.

Random Independent cities at distant corners of the map keep Culture flipping to me (England).

I entered the WB and discovered that my Culture basically covers the entire map. Quite often as high as 30%~40% in African, Balkan, and Russian Independent cities. None of my units (let alone cities) ever came near Africa and I was never at war with Morroco, and yet 2 Morroco Indies (Fez and another one) Culture flipped to me. At end game there were at least 8 such flips.

I had to use the WB to pre-raze the cities that are about to flip to me, as I feel the -5 to -10 Stability penalty per city flip (not to mention those cities are crap) for absolutely no reason at all is absurdly unfair.

Yeah, I got collapsed arhus as Byzantines. Even if you disband the city you get the expansion penalty.

-80??? How the heck. Anything more than -5, especially -15 means almost instant collapse or at least division of your empire.

yogiebere, my viking game was played on RFC:e++ but the french one I was referring to was pleyed on standard RFC europe. I checked my save again and it's -118 and it says I'm collapsing but it's been like that since 900 AD and now it's 1616. Nothing's really happened. Maybe it's a difference between rfc:e++ and rfc:e. Also it's viceroy difficulty, that might have got something to do with it.

You stayed in collapsing for 700 years with your empire intact? I'm pretty sure that's a bug. You're supposed to collapse after a few turns of being in collapsing.

Hello,

The modmod has a lot of details, I liked the hard-work you certainly put on it.

Today I picked a book, started reading it, and waited until Netherlands was ready. After some time I started playing but I couldn't figure out how to build colonies, even after researching all the techs and building both Companies. The link does not appear. Any help?

The AI has not built any of them too...
