RFCE++ Beta

Another bug to report. Started game as Prussia, and during the autoplay I noticed the great persons counter was -7. Hoped it would get to 0 when I spawn... nope.
 
RFCE++ is bugged and Morholt is nowhere to be seen, so we just have to wait for his return and play RFCE in the meanwhile...
 
Hi everybody,

Year long lurker, but first time poster. I have enjoyed both regular RFCE and RFCE++, and have stalled purchasing CIV 5 for the lack og mods like these. I was wondering if anybody had the version of RFCE++, right before it was merged with the K-mod? In my stupidity i erased the one i downloaded...

If anybody could upload a copy, he/she would have my eternal gratitude!!

That version would be Beta 3 right? Unfortunately I don't have it on my computer...
 
Just a crazy idea: What if we increased the importance of religious buildings by making them the only means of culture? This would mean:

- No culture for just having the religion
- Move build culture to drama

Maybe we could keep the +1 for religion if the game gets too hard. Otherwise you have to go by pagan shrine or wonders.
 
Below is Morholt's Beta 3 with updated City Name Maps and a few other small details such as the tweaked Bohemian and Swedish UHVs mentioned in the change log for Beta 4.

In the future I will to try to merge this file more closely with RFCE 1.0 and hopefully produce something like what Morholt intended to be RFCE ++ 1.0.

I'm not going to try anything with K-mod as I'm not much of an experienced modder, but I'm going to try to move this project along in the other ways that I can. If anyone is interested in helping me pick up where Morholt left off, let me know.

There is something strange with culture atm. Civs spread their culture over long distances and when some civs spawn (like the portuguese in my game as cordoba) my cities get a large share of the population as foreign in my core cities.

I just downloaded the file, loaded Germany and played a few turns without any problems. Anyone else have Ezzlar's problem?

Any chance of seeing this then? :)

Can you describe the Northward Route UP and post the pedia for the Birkebiener?

No. No problem so far in my French game, past First Crusade already.

Thanks for helping with this! RFCE++ is a masterpiece. It would be a pity for it to go into oblivion.
 
Tried french. Worked. Tried Germany. Worked. It was crash on Arabia. Will try again.

I wish, but I don't really have the skills necessary to merge this with RFCE 1.0. The first step I tried after my last post in this thread was to add in the unique building styles and other new art that is in 1.0 but it didn't work out. :blush:
 
As France: Militarism+Krak de Chevaliers+french UP means almost carefree razing of cities!
 
I will try to make a DLL that will run the mod. I want to get rid of all those erroneous messages of civs declaring war on themselves etc. other than that I find this version totally playable.
 
Some of the HRE code was moved to the dll, probably some of the unions code too
It may be hard to make a dll that runs the mod correctly...
