Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

Blasphemous, count me in! I tried RMC1, but had to abandon it when I was averaging 5 turns a day. I have no time for Civving like I used to, but I can help with mod ideas if you want.

Okay, email* me your IM contact info and we'll be in touch.

Hey, this is out of blue, but I was just staring at the Indian jungles and remembering a hotseat Rhye MP game me and my brother were playing (we always play co-op with Accel. Prod., so I had nukes at 600 AD), where I nuked an entire jungle area and sent in a squad of foriegn workers to clean up the mess. Quicker than leveling jungles the old-fashioned way- I got three cities in about ten turns! :nuke:

That is a very interesting approach! I hardly ever make it to the Industrial age in RoCX, because the game just gets too boring. I am usually just too big and each turn takes an eternity(roughly 2-5 minutes) for micromanagement. I usually just save the game and start with a new civ.

BTW, Blasphemous, when would be a good time to get in touch?

Whenever we're both online... Just log on as often as you can, we'll catch one another sometime.

I think I had a much slower start than the others who have posted their RMC updates here, but I did manage to finish the Eastern Route by taking the Japanese main islands in 1974 (oh - there's one silly Chinese outpost on Hawaii waiting for me to build some marines).

Now I'm trying to add some European SLs to my conquests. I've taken Madrid, since it had an earlier goal date, and rushed several fanatics in (they are very good for one thing - keeping cities from flipping back). I've never played RoCX to a domination victory before, so I'm hoping to get one in this game, but the turns do take a lot of time once you get near to 2000.

And once again, the timing of Rhye's mod (on emperor) is astounding! - fission researched in 1944, UN founded in 1950 - can't be much closer to history than that.

I suggest giving Clashing of Empires a try :)

I am playing a game as Egypt on a random map. One of my cities with a temple and monument says it generates 5 culture/turn, but has not expanded its area a single time. The culture box in the city screen shows culture as 0/10. What's going on with this? I've never had this problem before.

Your government requires a majority of your citizens in the city before culture is produced. Until at least half of the citizens are Egyptian, you will not recieve any culture.

If anyone is looking for an alternative 100x100 Earth map check out my sig for the RAZzicle map.

There is a original rules map along with a Rhys Expansion pack version 1.23 (with a change to population rules).

Looking forward to contructive feedback before publicizing on the front page.

Hi!

I need quick help!

I am almost done with CoE Civpedia,
only one thing I would like to do:

To delete units from the unit list of the CivPedia,
and also from the list it comes when at the advances...

How to do deletion?

well, the map is not very nice, but I'm curious to see some ingame screenshots

delete units? Each unit in the editor has a pedia entry.
So, you can delete the unit from the editor, or assign to it a different pedia link (for example belonging to another unit)

Oh my, that is just too simply a a solution. :D
I was so much into tweaking Pedia I forgot about the editor...

Are there plans to add in a Theocracy government that is more geared twards to the modern forum of Theocracy such as the Vatican City and Iran.

To Rhye and Blas - A REQUEST

Herewith I plead for the extension of the deadline of RMC1,
to next Sunday 24:00 (end 3rd of April).

That weekend would be really a help...

And one more question:
where should we send the saved files?
