Albert Einstein

He was German! He left Germany for America when Hitler was rising in power. Although he was Jewish, he is defininatly not a Hebrew SGL.

Also some city names in TET's mod may clash with Babylonian cities.

Bleh, what a flood of info... Look, I'm really no expert on jewish history... Barely even that knowledgeable about Israeli history...
So I'll just point out a few things...
Tel aviv is a very very new city... Not a century old yet iirc (I had an exam including this just two months ago. ><) Jaffa is ancient though, and these days they've merged into Tel-Aviv-Yaffo so it may be enough to have Jaffa as teh second city on the list and that should cover Tel-Aviv as well...
Eilat shouldn't be too far up the list... It's a nice vacationing spot but it's of very little historical importance.
Ashkelon was iirc originally a Philistine city, not a Hebrew one.
Kidron is a pretty tiny place these days, dunno about ancient times but I've been there (family friends) and it's not even a city. o_O
The Galilee is an area, not a settlement.
Beer-Sheva should be spelled Be'er-Sheva (it's pronounced beh-er sheh-va, not beer shee-va).
Beth-Shan should be spelled Bet-Sha'an, it's pronounced be(i)t shah-ahn.
Dor was a Phoenician city. (I was there just a week ago on vacation).
Never heard of "Ziklag".
I'm guessing "Aijalon" is reffering to Ayalon.
Kiriath-Jearim should probably be called Kiryat-Ya'ari, if at all included (it's a pretty small place, I don't even know where it is. =X)
No idea what Socoh and Bezek are supposed to mean.
Golan is the name of a mountain range, not a city.
I'll stop here for Thinker's mod, it's mostly made up of pretty insignificant ancient places after the first few on the list. (Which are also ancient.) His leader list is also way off of what you need.
TET's city list is also mainly ancient and includes many non-hebrew cities.
Einstein was a Jew but he shouldn't be a Sci leader for the Hebrews. He fits in better in America or Germany.
Moses wasn't a military leader, nor a scientific leader... Just a leader. And if you put him in make it simply "Moses", no need for the "ben Amram" ("son of Amram") in this case.
Samson's name was Shimshon, and he's called Samson, not Sampson.
Moshe Dayan should be on the military leader list, so should Ehud Barak, Ariel Sharon, Itzhak Rabbin, and well, a load of other prime-ministers we've had.
Hope I've been useful, I'm pretty ignorant to my own nation's issues so I'm probablyn oth te best guy for this job.

Here's an Israel city list based on the largest cities in Israel:
Jerusalem (hebrew Jerushalayim)
Tel Aviv–Yafo (Tel Aviv-Jaffa (Tel Aviv was made a suburb of Yafo/Jaffa in 1909))
Haifa (hebrew Hefa)
Rishon LeZiyyon
Holon
Petah Tiqwa
Netanya
Be'er Sheva
Rehovot
Ashdod
Kefar Sava
Ashqelon
Nazareth (hebrew Nazerat)
Hadera
Lod
Nahariyya
'Afula
Tiberias (hebrew Teverya)
Dimona
Karmi'el
'Arad
Bet She'an

Good. Now I have 5 lists from where to extract my list. :)

Right now I've left the Tasker utility pressing the end of turn, while I do something else. Israel once destroyed Babylon; this time it only founded one city in Sinai and one in Afghanistan. I'll make one more spot where Sumeria was, an nobody built a city there.
The ethiopians seem too strong with their new starting location, I'll make them weaker.

Haifah is pretty much as close as you can get to the Hebrew pronounciation without using the ch sound of the sort you get in Loch Ness.
If you use that sound then it's Chaifah (or Cheyfah). (The German pronounciation of it, ["Cheifa"], is much closer to it than the English Chaifah.)
Nezereth is called Natsrat in Hebrew.
Tiberias is called Tveriah.

This is my list. I hope there are no mistakes.
If I have time I will release the 2.6 tonight, and the alternative versions (including "Sumeria") tomorrow. Otherwise, everything tomorrow.

Megiddo. There's a hill there. From the hebrew for "Hill of Megiddo" comes the word "Armageddon".
Though I don't really know how it could have gotten so screwed up...
Mount Megiddo in Hebrew is "Har Megido". o_O
There's also this place in Jerusalem called "Gey Ben-Hinom" where human sacrifices were made in ancient times... It's the source of the hebrew name for Hell, "Ge(i)henom".

Armageddon is a place where the last battle on Earth takes place.
Megiddo in history was a strategic location, where many battles took place.
(Britannica gives two words for the hebrew word for hill, "har" and "tel")

What are the civ traits going to be? Religious + Agricultural? Looking forward to its release. (The sooner the better ;) )

"har" is most certainly not a word for "hill" but for "mountain" (though I do know that the hill in question is called "har megido").
"tel" is an old word for hill, used in modern hebrew mainly to describe a type of hill that can be found in this area where the entire hill is just layer over layer of ruined old settlements built one over the other over the milennia... Or generally just hills that are really just buried settlements.

Rhye, why Commercial?
With all due respect, Religious is far more appropriate... Or even Scientific (the pursuit of knowledge is pretty much sacred in Judeism.)

The origonal starting location for Ethiopia was not all that bad, they claim a decent portion of Africa before it gets colonized.
