WTH? You miss every single unit animation. Are you able to play normal games? You shouldn't!

Let me think...maybe you've got a different version like Civ3 Gold or Complete. Try to find where you've got Settler, Archer, Artillery and all the stuff you're missing. Try to copy them on that folder.

When you put the things in the scenarios folder, the main game isn't affected at all. You can play a regular game without deleting anything.

Of course once you've played RoX a few times you may never want to go back to regular C3C ...

How do you put that beautiful terrain of yours into a map (your world map, to be precise?)

Having a bit of trouble with messing with the biq, so I figured I would beg your aid haha

For those of you who have tried random map in RoCX, what are your experience? I love the world map, but like the that historical feeling that you do not know what the world look like before you have explored it.

I know that a lot of work have been done to accurately balance the world map, and the random map will of course lose some of this fine tuned balance.

Having a bit of trouble with messing with the biq, so I figured I would beg your aid haha

put the terrain files into \....your mod....\art\terrain.
Or better, if your scenario uses much stuff (like anims) of RoX, you can simply add it as a prerequisite. In the sceanrio properties, replace any line in the scenario serach folder with:
...your scenario folder...;Rhye's of Civilization X;Rhye's of Civilization XF;Rhye's of Civilization
With NO space after the ;

my experience with the random map is that all the imbalances come through without the world scenario map to keep everything under control. these imbalances include civ traits, unique units, and religions.

in addition, some of the map rules (eg no build settlers in desert/tundra/forest/jungle) just arent appropriate for certain map variations and add little to reducing load times. (yes, i know rhye recommends a very specific set of map settings for random maps, but what's the fun in playing the same kind of map over and over?)

that said, the base rules of rhye's mod are truly a joy to play with. i'm looking forward to future scenarios based on the rule pack, and hope someone takes the time to balance it for random maps.

OH wow, just realized what I had done wrong... I was like hmm this is harder than it should be... well of COURSE it is if you put the darn thing in the Civ3 standard folder! ...mrrrghh

hai quel file? controlla.

Dovrebbe essere art\units\Knight\KnightDeath.wav
senza spazio, sia il file che l'entry del file ini che lo richiama.

Praticamente avevo sostituito la cartella Art di conquests con quella del tuo modpack, invece dovevo semplicemente metterla in scenarios !
Scusami ancora, ma sai com'è, è la prima volta che installavo un modpack e forse questi orrori ci stanno.
Cmq nel frattempo ho avuto modo di visionare altri modpack e senza dubbio posso dire che quello fatto da te è di gran lunga il più realistico e nel complesso il migliore.Bravo!
