Rhye's Terrain Greener

whoa, nice work, meteor, maybe when civ4 comes out you guys with rhye will make a nice terrain textures....

How hard would it be to add Snoopy's water terrain to this? I really like his coastal, sea, and ocean differences. It's easier to figure out what type of tile you're in.

I'm not a modder.

@Methos: have you seen Snoopy's 4.1 Ptw Greener terrain? It is the same "lush" green and is probably what you'd like.

Since this was bumped recently I'd like to point out that I added a new link to Snoopy's plains_forests file. I think this is the best looking plains forest for this mod.

@MeteorPunch yours, @Rhye 's and @Snoopy 's work is awesome. I can't see myself playing vanilla Civ3 without this special combined terrain modpack now.. just brilliant!

Even zoomed out it looks awesome! Just brings so much LIFE to the world. It's like some sort of tropical paradise Gaia world lol

Yeah most of my ancient thread bumping revolves around me rescuing lost mod Civ2 and Civ3 projects here so no one tells me off as its usually a good deed haha. Obviously this one is not a rescue as your files are fine however 1- IMO it's the best vanilla game Civ terrain mod so it shouldn't be forgotten about and buried in the depths of CFC. 2- I felt it needed a modern day picture for CFC fans to see showing off just how good it looks in HD even when zoomed out. 3- I also needed to a good image of it hosted at CFC to promote your work on other sites. Have already shared the above pic in a few places where someone has said "Civ 3 sucks I hated the look of it, everything's too big & too brown" and I've been like "well check THIS out bro" lol.

Also I've been slowly working away on a massive Civ youtube video series for my retro gaming site that will showcase my favourite mods, and this 'combo' one from you @Rhye and @Snoopy is going to get a lot of coverage when I get to the Civ3 part of the series as a big chunk of the video will cover a regular Civ3 game (before I get onto crazy total conversion scenarios etc) and for that part I plan to have your beautiful mod turned on the whole time (so people don't get eye sores or leave the video lol).
