[R&F] Rise and Fall General Discussion Thread

I wonder if it actually contains more natural wonders: The cone-shaped mountain to the left and the desert mountains in the left/middle front.

The Steam summary says 8 Wonders. If that includes both natural and World, then we have seen them all:
Chateau Frontenac
Archiva General
Statue of Liberty
Temple of Artemis (or whatever it is)
the green domed complex with harbor entrance
Delicate Arch
Mt. Roraima
the 4-tile red forest

Isn't that a discuss? That said, the question remains

Two national wonders? The second seems familiar, but i can't place a name on it. And i can recognize the first one too, but i'm also not sure how it's named. Maybe something in China.

EDIT: I thought Danxia or Gullin mountains, but i'm probably wrong.
Second could be a volcano in Mexico or so.

you are missing the big golden statue of buddha in the city with the archiva general

However, there is some Japanese buddha statue, too.

Edit: Ninja'd by @luigilime :nono:

P.S. Looks like we're very enthusiastic about the expansion - it's about five hours and we've made more than 300 posts about it!

It says 8 world wonders and 7 natural wonders, at least the German version.

8 wonders and 7 natural wonders
The first might be something from Cappadocia. And possibly the mysterious domed-fortress-caravansaray-etc. wonder in front :p

And the second looks like Petit Piton on St. Lucia. But that would be next to coast in its original location...

Then we would have
WWs
- Statue of Liberty
- Japanese Buddha statue
- Greek/Roman Temple
- St. Basil's Cathedral (likely called Kremlin :p)
- Mysterious structure with a big blue dome
- Archivo General de Indias
- Chateau Frontenac (?)
- ?

NWs
- Red forest
- Mt. Roraima
- Delicate Arch
- ?
- ?
- ?
- ?

you forgot the Archive General de Indias. If the mysterious structure is a wonder and not an improvement from a trade governor or something, that would mean we have seen all but one wonder.

the problem with the persian building is that it doesn't have any roads or fountains or any sort of external decorations that every other wonder have, that makes me point more towards an improvement rather than a wonder

It does remind me of two volcanoes, but it seems even taller, more green and probably smaller

.Arenal, Costa Rica

Mayon, Philippines

Pinatubo, Philippines (that violently erupted in 1991)

but since the top is covered with leaves, i think it could be an extinct volcano (or a very dormant one). It seems small also, and also very steep. It's possibly it's not even a volcano.

But who knows, it could even be a random structure, and not standing out for something.

Some of the formations look like Cappadocia's fairy chimneys.

If it says that on the American Steam, I didn't catch it.
I can't access the American Steam... does it tell the other things? 14 new buildings? 2 new districts? 2 unique districts? 4 new unique improvements? 3 new resources? 2 new unique buildings?
