Rise from Erebus 1.30 Bug Thread

So, there are 51 pages here and I'm sure this has been mentioned...

Vampires attack as if they had a spear...not a sword.
When casting Haste, it does not properly drop off, so it cannot be used the next turn and units do not benefit further from the promo
Orc assassins were changing model to the standard assassin model. I am not sure if this was after aquiring master outfitter gear or just when fighting a war with svalt but it was always after combat.

Also, adding a known bug list would help us post only unknown bugs...if there is one could someone point me in that direction?

I'm pretty sure the haste thing is working as intended.
As long as you have an arcane units in the stack that is capable of casting haste, the promotion stays and your units should be 1 movement point faster.

I don't think Swamps should auto-grow (for the lizard civs) on tiles where I have workers actively making an improvement. Jungles, sure. Swamps, no.

Wholeheartedly agree. Makes me not enjoy playing them. It turns the game into a shaper race. Can I get enough out fast enough to plunk down improvements before it turns into a swamp? The answer is usually no. I can't even figure out how to change the terrain in WB. My capital in the first game I played as them has three improvements built because I didn't realise why I couldn't improve terrain until too late.

EDIT: I figured out how to remove the swamps in WB now. Use the "erase mode".

The Doviello building mechanic seems broken....I've built 2...bear and gorilla and they are not giving the unit bonuses. This is even after adopting FoL which is the stated preferred religion. Am I missing something?

Using the 1.31 patch and 1.31.195 hotfix
1) the Khazad don't seem to get their -1 movement adjustment for hill or mountains. Scouts still lose all movement from stepping onto a hill (I had a scout with three move lose all three to a plain hill.) Similarly workers also seem to still cost two move per hill. Boar riders the same.
2) There is an event that asks you to choose from one of a number of different things someone can tell you a story about for 50 gold. When I selected "The largest city" nothing appears to happen (maybe I had the largest city). I have not tried any of the other options.

I'm sure it's already been noted but in my most recent game both Orthus and Zarcaz spawned on the top of mountains and could not move. Was beneficial for me since I was the dwarves and at my leisure could go hunt them down.

I am using SVN https://rife.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rife/Development build 242.
I am playing Lalun. I have built a fishing fleet, that is able to build a pirate cove.
What is strange - it can be built only in one square out of 7 that are in cities' 2-square radius. The description says 'Requires two tiles from other pirate cove'. Hey, but I haven't build any pirate coves yet. :)
Am I missing something?

BTW - getting the same 3 events "population decreased by 1" in the first 100 turns in a marathon game is kind of... hum... challenging :)

I think the -2 maint cost for garrison commanders isn't working. It's almost as if it is +2.

Erebus mapscript put an ancient tower on top of the Ring of Carcer (is my guess). It says it's the Ring when I mouseover, but the graphic is a tower.

Fort Commanders cost more, not less.

Come on guys, help me out a bit. Obviously I got this impression from in the game.

It's the Influence promotion in-game description. "-2 :gold: per Turn in Support Cost."

The minus sign is pretty unambiguous to me. Minus means minus.

If you really mean increased then a better way to say it might be "+2 :gold: per turn increased Support Cost"

Hello, I've played this mod quite a bit, and I was wondering, what's this talk about SVN and revisions?
How do I find these to update my game? Most games that I've played that have SVNs have a website to download them. But I can't figure out where it is.

I just started reading this thread again, and updated the game to the latest hotfix, but I just want to know what do I do to download the updates.

Well for starters, check out RiFE's new forums. In particular, this thread.

Ah. Thanks. Sorry, I haven't checked every thing out, I've only recently started playing Civ 4 mods again.

I'm really far behind.
