Rise from Erebus 1.30 Bug Thread

Out of curiosity, has the bug with not being able to perform the Ascension ritual as the Illians been fixed? I haven't touched RiFE since I postponed that game and posted here about it, but the urge is starting to hit me again, and as it would be the first game of RiFE that I will have played to completion (I play Marathon/Huge Maps/ All Civs), I kind of want to finish it before I start any new ones.
 
Turn 333, just swapped to Hybo, and I constantly get a CTD as I try to lead my demonic hordes to a place to settle. :( Save game attached.

Edit: Just so I don't have to make another post, I've had an odd problem with effects persisting after they are not supposed to. Like, I had this Vicar who got poisoned or something, and he just would not heal, even when I moved him back into my lands and strolled him through the Pool of Tears. Now, I have a couple caravels exploring the world, and they each SHOULD have a movement of 6 - according to the info box and the multi-turn course plotting - but they are each only moving 2 through clear waters. This is a different game; I'll attach it if you want.

Just in case it is not already noted, Raitlor of Illians needs a text for when she is defeated. Just yesterday, in my head, she was screaming HAX after being knocked out at turn 20.
 
AoE spells cast by the ai will put them at war against people they don't intend to. This is probably not new to RifE, but if you could disable that auto-dow, then that'd be great since the ai likes to cast spells like ring of fire when it can now.
 
Tech Discounts for improvements does not work (even without modules) and if I add module BuildXP it breaks hotkeys

I searched through forums trying to find a solution but haven't found one. when I try to run the game, I don't find it under the "play a scenario" option, so somethings not right.. anyone know a hot fix or solution?

If you are trying to use a scenario with RiFE, it cannot work. RiFE has no scenarii....
Just play a regular game, it should work fine.

You're getting this error when double-clicking on the icon on your desktop, right?

You need to go into the properties of that icon and add some " " around the mod name.

What Falc said. The initial version of the launcher had some issues with Steam (none of us use it).

Or just go to this thread, download the installer, and drop it into the RifE folder, replacing the other one.

well, I'm even doing it from the direct Exe in where the files installed in the mod folder. its giving me the launcher menu and everything, but when I try to boot up the game from that launcher, it gives the message and starts the game as if it was a normal game of CIV4 beyond the sword.
 
As I said: Initial version of the launcher had that issue. Update it with the version in that thread. ;)

what thread lol XD. I'm sorry for being blind. Been looking this thread for a update. can you throw me a link. or give me a little more detail directions? ^^;;

Here it comes for the mechanos:
build-xp doesn't work for them. (build a farm and no xp gained)
so I'm thinking it's either the module that doesn't work, or a combination of modules that make it flawed !
I have :
no more terraforming,
starting something
no linked build
guns wyrm and steel 0.31, ( guns, steel, buildings, experimental modules)
Vali's city governors,
Vali's Shapeshifter
(+ mekaran order, odmod adn bannorchain of command)
and build xp..
 
I'll have to check it, but it is likely the "No Linked Builds" module causing a conflict. His module has to completely overwrite the build orders (only way to actually REMOVE something). If BuildXP is loaded first (which it likely is, given the naming of the folders), then No Linked Builds would overwrite it.
 
I can almost 100% confirm that Starting Something isn't the cause, as build orders are in the XML and all of the starting mods are python only :)
