Rise from Erebus 1.30 Bug Thread

so a way to correct it would be to rename "no linked build"'s folder into "a no linked build".. changing the load order... Am I right ?

DO you think renaming the module as proposed would "break" the save?

Why not just change the load order?

Just curious, I'm still seeing a lot of crashes. Are testing/bugfixes still going on?

A lot of bugs have been fixed, just waiting for some more stuff to be changed/fixed/tested/whatever, then we'll release 1.31, no eta yet, but it shouldn't be too long.

Cool. Thx!

Obviously, as I'm not on the team, you can just assume that I'm making all of this up ;)

I prefer to think the best of people until they prove me wrong. ;)

Well, it DOES fix loads of bugs, and introduces some new things, which are there to replace faulty mechanics (SpawnGroups), and it SHOULD be better.
You shouldn't be waiting too long for an official release, AFAIK, it's just really finishing up, XML work and the like :)

Whatever you do, you can't complain about us taking our time. We do this for free out of love of modding and when people complain about not releasing I get so angry that I basically want to stop working and not release out of spite.

GF, what you just did qualifies as a preemptive kneejerk reaction. ;) I didn't complain at all.

I wasn't talking to you specifically.

I am in a bad mood tho, I probably shouldn't post at all.

What time is it there, 8pm? Go have a frosty one and relax doing something else.

There are many bugs that have been fixed (including the ever-present dispel chest crash), and right now we are working to finish up lairs.

Rather, the rest of the team is, I'm writing a paper for Cinema and studying for my calculus final.

I do believe you just made an official declaration:

Not in the least. Jemon is not on the team.

Dam.
Do you have any idea how long I have been reading all your posts looking for some unique way of saying soonTM that is unique to RiFE?

Well, back to the drawing board.

Don't you worry. I will get it yet when you least expect it. :)
(for some reason, this smiley looks emotionless rather than smiling)

I am actually very happy that RifE is still under devellopment with Civ5 out and all.
I have a huge load of crashes, too and would really like to see a fix to that, but don't feel rushed - better have a solid patch than persisting crashes after the patch.

Love your work guys!

The svartalfar/ljoslfar still remove forests when building mines, cottages, etc.
the bannorn have also been building massive armies of archers and scouts in my latest game(1.3) and 1.3 was the magic revisited right? I thought I read that somewhere and the promos for spells still being inplace vexes me to no ends:(
