Perhaps, but I think that you rolled pretty good with the RNG-dice in that combat loosing only 1 HC.
I knew I should have brought more hops with me, didnt think that you could muster such a formidable force so quickly and especially not in that terrain with many rivers that hinder movement.....

This was a great turn for Alexander.
Having barely survived the persian cavalry charge he orders a counterattack:
5 greek HC kills 5 persian HC outside Arbela without any casualties.
1 HC kills spear in Arbela and captures city!
Three greek scout HC kill the three persian HC outside Hatra.
Our catapults destroy the walls of Ancyra and injures one of the defenders.
1 HC retreated when attacking city
3 HC kill three defending spears
Hoplite kills wounded spear and captures the city!
