Rnes9: Run for President Too.

Mr. Roddy Sir I recently quit another NES and the hobo is done with his suntan in orange county so I was wondering if he could reenter the race as a late contestant?

Mr. Roddy Sir I recently quit another NES
as long as you dont mean the Risk Game, then sure.
but you gotta promise to try not to quit in half a turn like the first time ;)

pick a homestate, color and send orders.

The Mitchell campaign publishes their weekly report on the status of the election.

Edit: We apologize for the clerical error. It has been expediently rectified.

Can I join?
sure. you're more then welcome.
pick a homestate, color, and if you want candidate name, party and anything else you want to add. then send orders by monday of how you want to spend your 40 hours and any of your $1000K if you want to spend some of it.

I assume no responsibility for quitting Risknes, Jason and Northking were starting to l>|Tch at me for sending diplo., slightly trash-talk slanted diplo. many weeks ago, diplomaticising in the open, not making the moves they wanted = generally bad camoflauged resentment over having their asses kicked.

It was Lines that I quit to answer your question.
I will not quit by half a round (I promise) although technically last time I joined Rnes9 I quit before the first update and did not participate at all.

Presidential Candidate: Hobo McHobosen
Vice President: Jack T. Chick
Player: Toteone
Homestate: California
Color: Gray or bum brown

Sorry for the OOC, buuuuuuuuut...

I snort at thee. If you really can't handle people getting annoyed at you, and you really think that we're mad over a game...

Oh good, another fool to fight over California while Louisa Mitchell takes over the entire northern half of the country! I mean... Welcome, Jack Chick *snort*. I wish you good luck in your campaign.

And welcome to JessicaKathrinn, too.

ok, i know i started it. and dam me for it, but that conversation is NOT carrying over to this game, toteone and north king, no more of that conversation here. PM it if you want, but not here. i suggest if you do continue it, to use a LOT of smilie faces, even the evil and mad ones make for a less personal feel to the mud slinging.

i've gotta go right now, so cant check, but i know there are still people who have not sent orders. i'm not pushing the update to late monday again, i'm going to start it early monday and take my time writing it. so your orders have to be in by late sunday night, BEFORE MONDAY.
so if you know that you dont go onto cfc much during the weekend, send them NOW.

i will have to quit the race.
ARRGG.

if either of the people who wanted to join wants to take Stalins (or tossi's for that matter) votes, you're welcome to them. that way you dont have to start from scratch when everyone else has a bunch of states already.

anyone know where blackheart disappeared to? didnt get orders from him.
it seems that neither of the people who expressed interest in joining, have done so, didnt get orders from either. oh well, maybe next turn.

Uncontested states - these states have one clear winning candidate for who every person in the state is considering voting
New York
Massachusetts
New Hampshire
Vermont
Pennsylvania
Mississippi
Oklahoma

the candidates in these states have convinced everyone to pick a side, but there are still more then one candidate fighting for the state.
Illinois
Michigan
Nevada
Kentucky
D.C.
Florida
Georgia
Virginia
Tennessee
Alabama
California
Texas
Wisconsin

Highlights
California - In one of the major turnovers of the week, this state favors Issac Corel since William Rainer has resigned from the race. There are still a lot of people in the state who consider themselves supporters of William Rainer, but their numbers are quickly dwindeling.

Texas - With the Communist William Rainer resigning from the race, texas goes back to its old favorite 'Gunshooin' Sam Yeager. Over 20% of the states population goes right to Yeager's side as soon as the announcement is made by Rainer.

Randy McPharkin made over 6 million dollars Fundraising in Verginia. He also takes the lead in the state away from Louisa Mitchell. The fact that these achievements happened in one week are seen as a counter to accepted political theory, but it worked great for McPharkin who spent over half the week in the state.

Orders sent.

I had it in my orders to visit Maryland for 2 hours, so shouldn't it be blue now?
bugger. you're right, well sort of, ;)
guess your orders could be understood as that 2 being in maryland, i thought it was for Washington DC.
if i can figure out what that changes, i'll change it, but its a good lesson, it realy is better if you send orders as a list of names and numbers, as apposed to a picture.

edit: updated the update, wasnt as hard as i was afraid it would be.
