Got it....

You have a Quest. Fetch, the god of going out and getting stuff, has shown you far flung corners of the world. If you can retrieve the goodies from my 4 huts, you will receive my blessings. If you use a scout to pop all 4 you will receive extra blessings. Don't get all 4 and your enemies will be rewarded.
(Blessings)
Spoiler :
Blessings = Compass Technology. If Mad already has Compass, he gets Optics. If Optics too, then Astronomy.

(Enemy Reward)
Spoiler :
Barbs and any AI without it receive Compass

(Extra Blessings)
Spoiler :
I'll put a harbor in each coastal city of Mad's.

The Poet is angered at the humans insolence! Not only has Zara Yaqob defeated his Servant, but the other humans have gone to war with each other instead of devoting time to the beautiful and lyric knowledges of the world! Raging with anger at these mortals, the Poet wanders the barren icelands where the Ethiopians once had hoped to quarry Marble, he decides upon a plan!

Spoiler Paulus :
Add the Egyptian civilization, under control of Ramesses, to the world, They should inhabit the island south of Justinians home (if someone has settled a couple of cities there, remove them. If the entire island is settled, find another home for the Egyptians. They should preferably have 4-5 cities, settled in good spots (and of size 3-4), have Stone and Marble, same techs as Mad plus Aesthetics and Literature, 3 workers, two archers for each city except for capital, where they should have an archer and an Oromo Warrior named "Ambassador of the Art", with Drill I thru IV, Shock, Cover, Formation and Leadership promotions. Perhaps some wandering troops aswell (War Chariots? Axes?)... And there should be road between all their cities, and enough improved tiles for them not to work unimproved land right off the bat. Resources should be linked up.

Grant all AIs +3 diplo with the Egyptians off the bat and let us see how they fare!

Glad you're doing all this, I am very sorry I can't do it myself. Keep it up, and please, post advice if you have any (and screenies of the map would be nice aswell). :)

Once again Zara shakes his fist and defies the gods. However, the idea of some more free Goody huts will certainly be accepted! ;)

For the record, I will start the next segment sometime after 5 PM Wednesday (US eastern time) which gives everyone another day to abuse or bless the Ethiopian people!

The earth shook. Where once was barren land now a paradise had been made. Where there was no land, now an island had risen. Where once no humans lived... a civilization had come to life.

Also, if the God of Arts ever dare ask an edit again that requires hand-editing a Worldbuilder save, he will recieve some serious smiting. :D

The Creator God however feared that he had shifted the natural order by giving life to the Egyptians. He even might have destabilized the world in doing so. It is to the Ethiopians to choose whether they dared take the risk, though the Creator has compensated them for their troubles with two gem mines.

(Okay, so I decided to try and do what Diamondeye wanted and add an extra civ to the map. It required hand-editing some WB saves but it seemed to work. If Mad deems it too risky to pick the save I provide - I have no idea if everything will still work if an extra civ is added - he can pick Fetch's save.)

@diamondeye

Spoiler :
that's a lot of work! I don't know if anyone can devote that kind of time to doing that.

EDIT:
spoke too late. Diamond should kiss paulus. I'm sure that took some work.

Providing the save does not crash, I play whatever I get! Regarding Egyptians, Zara view is either 1) A charming lady who is easy prey or 2) An egotistical God-King who needs to be put in his place! Zara is an opportunist but still Paranoid and dispises these gods, even the Creator!

Spoiler :
It actually didn't take that long. A few minutes or something like that...

I know that line of thought. Everyone and everything might be valuable to me sometimes, but in the end they are simply in the way. :D

can I join in, in messing with the game? I have a few ideas.

I didn't know if everyone who joined earlier was taking turns and I could not join because I didn't get around to joining earlier. Or all I had to do was mess with the game and post it.

I will let the other gods have the final say but seams like a free for all! Just keep the changes in spoilers!

Cool. So if the other gods won't allow me just ignore this post ;)

Matthewthegreat finds heathens in Aksum! So he removes his blessing from them and gives it to the city of yeha.

Spoiler :
I move the Palace and the Garrison in aksum to yeha.

That tech situation is rough.

Might not have a chance for a lot more intervention if you can't catch up - unless there are some kindly gods...

The Poet is in The Creators debt! He now looks at the Egyptians, his chosen people, with great expactations. These people, he has confidence that they will create many wonders of the world, and write poems to the praise of the heavens!

To lead these people, the poet picks out the great architect, Ramesses, and his line of sons. His house is to be guarded by a divine being, an Ambassador of the Arts, much stronger than the Servant he had sent to the Ethiopian continent! Yes, this new people surely looks promising!

For now, the poet decides that the Ethiopians have served their just punishment. He even considers rewarding them for helping the Egyptians against the barbarian nations of the world!

Hey Gods

Spoiler :
He's in a pretty serious tech situation, and stuff like plagues randomly shrinking his entire empire won't help. Think we could gift him Communism to help the situation, early State Property and Kremlin? Or is that a bad idea?

Spoiler :
I'd be against giving him anything from a drastically different era. Maybe something to take everyone else down to size. Plagues hitting their lands. Convert their gold to desert. Or wait until he gets into a war and gift him tons of crappy units (200 impis against a couple riflemen?)

Spoiler :
Given that the capital has been moved to Yeha, SP would seem like a pretty good idea. The maintenance costs must be brutal. In general, his research rate, bad as it was, has been hit hard.
