land 2 units next to Lakota, rush more builds and units
because we have the money, steal industrialization from Ottoman

IT Japan now declares war on us :eek:, mind you they were polite before that, attack that just captured Yankton killing 2/3 units
the other landing gets retreated by Sioux

then we can attack Japan, we need more military units, started some defenders in weak defended Islands

next player should MM and rush what is worth rushing, suggest not to rush in totally corrupted towns unless for growth

:blush: Yep there were but they were all headed to the front?! No real problem was it?
I do know you shouldnt do that... but heck... In this case? You were gonna move them there anyway....;)
 
not really an issue, just 2 defenders moved into enemy territory just before I captured the town, else they could have entered the town as well, never mind though

Ah... You mean them... Were then into enemy territory? Hmz... Must have misclicked.... I hardly ever send defenders on automove into enemy territory, unless inside the/a stack...

On the first interturn, our troops at Lakota were crippled. The AI attacked with everything it had, and only two Hussars survived.

On my first turn, I attacked with one of the remaining hussars, and he lost. With one hussar there was nothing left to gain there, so I loaded him back on ship and left.
In the east things went better, we captured the remaining 3 sioux cities, getting like 4700 gold. However, we lost our army when a redlined adventurer killed it (the army had 10 HP). It was kinda sad to see this silly man with his silly pistol shooting our army down.
The rest of my turnset I spent with forming our invasion force for japan and upgrading our military.

Remarks: Our invasion force dearly lacks defensive units. I really wouldn`t land the troops we have right now. I started building line infantery, but it will take a few more turns for them to arrive. But with hussars and dragoons around, I think it`s really worth the time. Remember the Lakota disaster.

Japan and arabia signed a MA, we are now at war with arabia. Oh shivers.

It could be that some empty ship is still on automove. I tried to time all automoves to end with my turns. If one slipped my notice, I apologize.

that was my mistake, should have loaded som defensive units as well. Are we still at war with Sioux? I actually wanted to sign up Ottoman to fight Japan and then realized they don't even know each other :lol:

I have never ever even had the opportunity....
 
We are still at war.
Nakota is one of the cities captured during my turns, that`s why you couldn`t.

54/75. Little mistake on the mountain W from Satsuma, left a cav pair without a line infantry. Sorry.

Right now our troops are unbalanced: Infantry to the E, cav to the W. Artillery pretty much evens out on both ends though. The last turns have been more healing and quiet, but there should be some significant advance in the next set.

I had more pictures but saved some in black and white, so now we can just say: Battlefield Medicine, Military Academy and Smith's Trading Company.

preturn: we've got trades to do. Steam engine to the crippled sioux gets us modern legal system and 2500 gold. That lets us switch Haraiki to Supreme court, helping us with our corruption
spend a fair chunk of our 25k+ gold rushing things
2 former sioux cities are 100% happy, but building temples.
There's cities with no forges building mills, and cities with no guild halls building factories & hospitals. We shold be building the cheap production boosters before more expensive buildings that do the same thing or less.
