i've been a busy bee

with the techs...in an attempt to pack up some files to post, i drew up an intial tech tree based upon unit/improvement/sm wonder discovery timeline.
also, i made a few minor changes to reflect a more 'aggressive' and 'tough' n vietnam. first, i made a seperate Government for the s vietnamese: S. Vietnamese Democracy. in the editor, i altered the 'Propaganda' modifiers to be very, very susceptible (assimilation %s and propaganda) to the 'Communist' govt. finally, i added about 20 n vietnamese units in groups of 4 and 5 along the western border of s vietnam. mostly at VP locations along the HCM Trail.
units added: Mechanized Combat Engineer by recon1591 & LCM (Mech Landing Craft for the scen) by wyrmshadow, ANZAC Rifleman (AATTV Officer for the scen) and S Korean Infantry. the last 2 are 'auto-produced' and unbuildable in the city build que.
units edited: gave +1 mvmt (2) to NLF Inf and VC, gave NLF Inf 'Build Fort' and 'Barricade' flag. this is on top of VC being 'Invisible' and NLF Inf w/ 'Stealth Attack'. this should be a good avantage for the n vietnamese.
small wonders added or being added: AATTV Barracks (produces the Australian/New Zealand units), S Korean Barracks (produces S Korean Inf)
'uranium' is the 'Strategic Resource' to build both the sm wonder and the units. uranium appears in only 4 tiles on the whole map. 2 in US territory and 2 in S Vietnam.
we're going to have to make at least 2 auto-producing improvements for the commies to balance the US and s vietnam.
before i post anything, i need to clean up the text files some. but take a look at the initial tech tree idea
