Scenario Request Thread

Spawned from this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=311434

Need map(s) that will work for WolfRev. I'll include them by default in the WolfRev download. Mainly requesting Earth and Europe at this time. Scenarios and maps aren't my thing, more interestead in the function part of modding, otherwise I'd do it myself. But when it comes to things like scenarios and art, I lack the skills, and need to ask for help.

Are there any maps compatible with RevolutionDCM? I would think they'd be compatible with WolfRev then.

Thanks to anyone who is willing to help.

I would like to see an American Civil War scenerio. The Union could be one Civ, but the Confederacy could be different Civs for each state bound in a permanent alliance vs the Union. States like Kentucky and Missouri could be individual states with no allegiances because they were divided. Canada would be controlled by a British Empire, Mexico would be under Maximillian I.

Did you check the American Civil War mod?

Or the Thirty Years War. Or The Reformation.

I'm thinking about something like that.

How about a BTS Earth18Civ Scenario with:
Egyptian Empire- Ramesses II
Indian Empire- Asoka
Chinese Empire- Qin Shi Huang
Greek Empire- Alexander
Roman Empire- Augustus Caesar
Japanese Empire
Mongolian Empire- Genghis Khan
Russian Empire- Peter
Milanese Empire
Incan Empire
Native American Empire
Persian Empire- Cyrus
Celtic Empire- Brennus
Viking Empire
Zulu Empire
Mayan Empire
Korean Empire
Ethiopian Empire

I enjoy playing on marathon speed, so being able to change the speed would be nice.

Done. (Well, almost...)

Bumping this:

Some of you may remember from Civ 2: Fantastic Worlds, or MGE. There was an amazing scenario on a world based around the creations of Jules Verne. It was creative and really helped bring alive Jules' vision. I also just liked playing it. I mean, the hunt for Nemo? Awesome.

I was wondering, since I uninstalled previous Civs (Civanon, helped me) if the creator of that scenario is here? Or was it a Firaxis make? If it was the former, and you browse around here. Please make it for Civ 4. The game engine can truly bring to life the World of Jules Verne. :)
If the latter, I humbly request to any mod makers to help bring this world into Civ 4, since it truly was one of the most creative scenario/mods we had for Civ 2.

Can't make it myself, unfortunately, but I think it's a fine idea. So, anyone?

I'd  a scenario for Vanilla about Napoleonic Europe with a couple new units (so it wouldn't just be cannon and riflemen the whole time).

I'm personally hoping for some scenario or mod that really expands trading or diplomacy. Adding tons of resources maybe, so that you really have to trade around to get them.

What I would really love for my upcoming birthday is an expansive Caribbean scenario. I'd prefer it beginning around the time of Haiti's independence (possibly starting with a great general François-Dominique Toussaint Louverture/Jean-Jacques Dessalines?) and their eventual overrunning of Hispaniola. From there the player takes control. Civs included would possibly be the French (still had holdings surrounding), the English (Jamaica, other islands) Spain (Puerto Rico, Cuba, the very top of South America, Yucatan?), USA (florida/american south?) and the Dominican Republic (mostly the very eastern half to allow the possiblity and historically accurate throwing off of Haitian rule). I'm a Dominican-American and have been really wanting to playing through the history. I have BTS.

I guess the only snare is creating the Haitian and Dominican civs. I threw that wish list out in the new civilization request thread hoping someone would bite.

Any takers...?:D

Can anyone take the civ 2 MGE PlutoRising scenario on This Page and make a civ 4 scenario out of it? I know that you can make certain techs researchable only if you're in a certain religion, so can you take that plutonianism thing and make it a major religion and have the pluto techs researchable only if you're in that religion? As for the plutonian empire, perhaps their unique unit could be the PlutoCon (short for "Plutonian Concorde" or the Pluto Vehicle? Of course those two units as is would unbalance the game, so maybe the Ice Catapult as a modern day catapult, only a bit more powerful than the civ 4 default catapult? Or perhaps there could be two separate scenarios, one containing the ice catapult, and the other containing one of the super-units?

VERY LATE EDIT: I only have vanilla civ 4 (with the latest patch). And the city ownership should be updated to today's level.

Hi ! i would like a Blank Earth Map, Normal size, for Chiyu's Extra with all the ressources placed accurately if possible...

The purpose should be making scenarios by myself so i really need, me or eventually an other guy, to have this map...

The work should be only preplace civs and modify it when somebody create a scenario, if the person has only scenario and not mod skills...

Thanks by advance...

I would really like to see (if one does not already exist) an historical Earth map sometime around the division of the Roman Empire into the Western Roman Empire and Eastern Roman Empire. Either the first division, during the reign of Diocletian (the Tetrarchy) or the final split, after Theodosius (Arcadius in the East and Honorius in the West). From an historical perspective, the latter might be preferred, since the Western Roman Empire collapsed not long after. This scenario might be done in the style of Lokulus and JEELEN's other Earth scenarios (I'm sure you've all played them).

Here is an historical map from the year 400AD (Arcadius came to rule in 395AD, so this map fits perfectly):

(Eastern Hemisphere only, sorry. For the Western hemisphere, a Postclassic Maya city-states could work)

If you're familiar with Thomas Lessman, you'll agree that his historical maps are definitely A grade.

Anyway, if anyone (JEELEN, I'm looking at you ;) ) would deign to make such a scenario, let me know, and I'll throw a party.

Note: I would suggest using Rhye's earth map with enlarged Europe, found in his mod, "Rhye's and Fall of Civilization." I would post a link, but I do not know how to get only the map out of the mod and upload it... If you can, please try and use it; I find that Rhye's regular map makes playing a Euro civ less fun than it is with the enlarged Europe... and considering this scenario's main action will be taking place with the downfall of the Western Roman Empire, it seems appropriate to make Europe larger.

Thanks!

What about a scenario where sentient Canines (dogs, in other words) rise up and enslave their former Human masters? Awesome.
