Has anyone noticed that both of the Great Writers we've seen so far have two Great Works of Writing associated with them instead of one? Wonder what that's about.

Also, Hannibal is a Great General this time. While it's possible that GPs could get upgraded to leader status later on, as City-States occasionally turned into civs in V, I think that's unlikely given the unique bonuses each GP provides. More likely that if the Carthaginians get in later, it won't be under Hannibal. Either they'll go with Dido again, or they'll do something really interesting and use someone like Hanno I. Time will tell, I suppose.

They never did. They always remained a regular Minor Civ. If they got a second city that was by pure and rare luck, but that never made them any more powerful. Not sure where you got that from.

OH, ou mean... I just got what you meant.

If anything they'll just take him out of the pool and replace him with a different general... or we'll get Dido again.

Broadcast tower, or some derivative of it, returns.

Just more gibberish.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, I guess that was ambiguous. I meant how some original City-States, like Lisbon or Warsaw, were later upgraded in expansions to full civs, with the City-State name being swapped out for a new one.

It's conceivable that they'll add the Carthaginians later with Hannibal as the leader, and change the name of GP Hannibal to, say, Scipio Africanus, or something. More likely, I think, that they'll keep the GP lists the same and just add the Carthaginians under someone else. Probably Dido, if they want to keep a female leader. Or if they would rather use someone who wasn't in V, then a new leader altogether, which could be cool.

I think its KCIV, like a radio station (Western US) and CIV as the 3 letter call sign.

I think this is right on the point.

Funny thing is, even if modelled after an US radio station, the US won't have it, as they have the movie studio instead.

This potentially confirms the speculation that there are two different types of musuems.
I would say it's more than speculation. The statement in an official video "archaeological museum" is very strong evidence.

I think I would rage if this turns out to be true.

Guessing that the Broadcast/Radio tower is what the American Film Studio replaces.

Looks like this guy was indeed just a modern version of the Builder.

Looks like this is the Shipyard building, and not just a feature of the Royal Dockyard District:

And note that in the screen in which tile yields are shown, it looks like they've gone back to the only way of calculating yields (base yield + feature yield) instead of the Civ V way (feature yield overwrites base yield). In other words, a Grassland tile still yields 2 Food even if it's got a Woods on it (which case 1 Production is added).

Well unless the movie studio doesnt replace it but is an additional building. :D (Or does replace something else that goes in that slot.)

Something to note I think the Royal Naval has cobblestone style, as opposed to wooden or concrete, whatever it is unique districts look pretty much the same, all they did was add the carnival (a funny looking one if you pay attention to the never-ending supply of people scurrying from point A to be B like a Doctor Who police box) thing in it other than that it looked just the same to a regular Entertainment Complex.

Well, the unique districts were kind of destined to be visually lackluster, because all a district is really is a container for buildings.

Are we sure that the Great People screens are completely correct and finished already? I just can't wrap my head around Jeanne d'Arc being "renaissance and industrial", but not medieval... But well, it really doesn't matter that much.

Tobacco icon (pipe) in the UI at ~1:50 in the Brazil video. So it's not Incense OR Tobacco, it's both. Pretty sure this pic shows what Tobacco looks like on the map, as that plant looks almost exactly how the Tobacco resource in Civ IV did (found in scenarios, but not the main game):

It's placement on Tundra here is presumably due to WorldBuilder shenanigans.

Hopefully that's an oversight that will be corrected.

Well, if Jeanne d'Arc is an oversight, I really can't wrap my head around Irenaeus. If that's the Irenaeus I'm thinking about, that would be the... 200s or so?

I would have thought that after you Founded your religion with a Great Prophet, you would lose access to that GP type and instead get Apostles?

After all, if you can't get more than 1 Great Prophet, Great Prophet points are basically only for the race to get a Religion... that would seem weird...

Amenities (presumably of the negative variety) can come from Bankruptcy and War Weariness.
That's pretty cool to see spelled out, I missed that. Interesting that most amenities seem to be global except possibly entertainment and the perhaps semi-global aspect of luxes.

Here's a pic. Ignore the text, it might not be accurate.
