Wow! It's been almost four months since I brought you the first installment of the adventures of MisenKan! So okay, quite a bit has happened, but I'll put the first post in spoilers in case you missed it, cuz I know ya care! Here's the link if you'd rather read it there.

Spoiler :
Welcome to part 1 of the adventures of MisenKan! A character created to honor a couple of really cool cats here at CFC (I'll let you struggle to break my code and figure out who.)

Okay, so basically I am going to be playing a battlemage. I tried this once before and it was an unmitigated failure. Struggling to decide what to perk in the magic and warrior trees and really ending up sucking at both. Hoping to do a little better this time. So without further delay, let the pictoral story of MisenKan begin! Each image is linked thumbnail to the fullsize image.

Here we are at character creation. As you can see, I've chosen Breten. I really should have gone Imperial for their armor, one-hand, enchant, and magic skills, but I just think Breton is a better fit. Why? Well, Kan is from highland country and Bretons are from High Rock! high...high... oh well okay forget that. Both Kan and Mise are from civs that suffered under the English, and Bretons were/are oppressed under both Imperial and Nord rule in The Reach. So, Breton.

As we see here, I've decided to follow that Imperial dude at the beginning. I mean, who knows who those other losers were, but their uniforms were butt ugly and they were about to be beheaded, so they are probably bad people!

Every good mage should join the College of Winterhold. Free bed and the most stylish robes!

So okay, after joining the college, I felt I should take advantage of my innate magical resistance and boost that, so I did Mara's bidding and helped love blossom across Skyrim (+15%) and then got this nifty leather outfit (+15% again, PLUS +50% poison resistance)

But dammit, I'm a battlemage, not a playboy bunny mage.

But I really need some extra magicka since I am not wearing any robes to enhance my regen, so I need that neat hood. (This, btw, is currently the default outfit.)

Damn that Uthgerd. She keeps charging in screwing up my kills. Well I beat her to the punch this time! Bleak falls...cleared.

Hi cutie! (see my previous thread about my first mod) Nothing is really changed except what they wear so I can make them wear whatever armor I want without them being burdened with their default armor weight. That wrecked them as packmules.

Gettin' all gussied up for my big day!

Ka-CHING! 100 gold a day rollin' in! But don't worry, I married her for her mind, not her money.

Stay tuned for more adventures!
As with previous post, each image is linked thumbnail to the fullsize image.

So okay, moving on! We left off at the chapel where our star-struck lovers tied the knot. So first thing I do is take my gal friday home to see Papa Kan and Mama Mise. Pop into Markarth apparently right at guard shift change. Guys really seem to be impressed by curved swords. What I'd like to know is where the hell were they when that forsworn or whatever tried to kill that lady right in front of me.

Anyhoo, turns out ma and pa had moved to Karthwasten and had just set out the evening before. I didn't have time to try to track them down as I had an appointment to keep with these "Greybeards". Went well, impressed everyone. They gave me a mission to find some horn.

Left the Greybeards and headed to tell Klimmek I'd dropped off his dried fish. BOOM! Out of nowhere these cultist weirdos pounce, questioning my Dragonborn-ness. They're dead, but tracking down that little irritant has to go on the backburner for now. Greybeards...

Quick hop over the mountains to home before heading up Morthal way for the Greybeards. Not exactly a honeymoon, but first good night rest in a long time.

Rested up, heading to Ustengrav for the Greybeards. Set upon AGAIN by mysterious character. Assassin... I have no idea who or why. Filing under "he's dead now too."

By the Eight! This is just perfect. How the hell am I supposed to explain this to those old geezers? *Sigh* Off to Riverwood.

So okay, not so bad news afterall. Lady is a Blade. I've heard the stories, so going along for now. Went with her to kill a dragon and ran into an old friend...

Dragon dead (not that one, the other one) so finally got back to Greybeards with their horn. Hope it was worth the trouble. Have to try out this voice now. Lydia, go stand near the edge of that cli..haha kidding!

Right, so first things first. Who the hell are these cultists and why did they try to kill me?? Who in blazes is Miraak?! Off to Solstheim! Weird land, that's for sure.

Dibella save me!!! That was, oh deary me. Short and sweet, Dovahkin got her backside handed to her in short order. Hotfooted it the hell out of there and back home. Thought maybe I'd finally go visit ma and pa out Karthwasten way. Rest up, train more, experience more life. Solstheim will still be there in a year or two. So went to Karthwasten and horrible timing ma and pa are vacationing down in the Imperial City. *Sigh* Okay, head to Markarth to pay my respects to Dibella and those religious weenies say I offended them, so I had to go find some kid as penance. Turned out okay in the end, though. I have some magical anti-man powers now!!

Well, with mom and dad out of town, I decided to stick around the Reach for awhile and just practice my craft. Did odd things here and there. I like to think I'm coming along nicely. Anyway, one night Lydia is doing my laundry and says she found this note from some guy about meeting him in the temple to Talos and is like "WHO THE HELL IS THIS?!" Jealousy is so ugly. I had no idea, and don't even remember when or how I got the note, so I invite her to come along with me as we investigate. Well it turns out it's about that lady from awhile back that I saved from that forsworn. Lydia at least now believes me that I wasn't cheating on her, but she wants nothing to do with this whole sordid thing. Myself, I'm intrigued. Perhaps it's me being a Breton, I don't know, but I start sticking my nose where it isn't wanted and it landed me in the pokey. Well, I know the score and even though I'm a woman, I can crack rock with the best of 'em.

I've heard the stories. I know how it is, so I acquired myself some rudimentary "tools", you might say.

So I met the power in Cidhna Mine. He's the king of the forsworn.

I may be a Breton, but I'm an imperial citizen. I'm not about to let the forsworn take over. I reached for my shiv, stopped, mentally slapped myself on the forehead and said silently, "You idiot, you can conjure warm beds for guards. What's a sword or two?" It's not always good to be the king.

You heard right. Feel free to apologize for wrongful imprisonment, jerk.

So I'm gaining a bit of fame in Markarth now. The powers that be are taking notice and I'm doing fairly well for myself. Lydia misses Breezehome. I can't blame her. Staying at the Silver Blood Inn all the time is getting a bit tiresome, but it feels so good, spending so much time in my homeland. Anyway, I surprised her with some new shiny armor to try to cheer her up. Worked! As I said, things are looking up for me now. The Jarl himself asked for me. He had a personal mission he wanted me to handle. If I can pull this off, it should be a HUGE improvement in our standing. Not too keen on taking on hagravens, though...

JUST DIE ALREADY!!!

Well, that was certainly dicey, but as I suspected it paid off in a HUGE way. I'm Thane. AGAIN!

Well we're movin' on up, movin' on up, to the top, movin' on up! To the deluxe Vindrel Hall in the sky! We're movin' on up, movin' on up, to the top, movin' on up, we finally got a piece of the pie! Now we're up in the big leagues, gettin' our turn at bat. As long as we live, it's you and me baby, there ain't nothin' wrong with that!

Okay, that wraps up part 2 of The Adventures of MisenKan!

Part 3 immediately below (there is apparently an image link max and I have 37 this round)

Really it is just part 2 continued, but oh well, I'll keep the numbering scheme as this being 3 from here on out. Anyway, continuing...

So strolling around Markarth one Sundus and bumped into this Vigilant of Stendarr. That meeting led me to the strangest series of events in my life up to this point. He wanted to investigate this house and needed my help. Okay, I'm Thane, I'm supposed to help the people. Well, turns out THERE'S A DAEDRIC PRINCE! Now I'm Thane and I'm supposed to help people, but I also have a rule. When immortal Gods from Oblivion give you an order, you obey them. So anyway, I'm doing his bidding to free this other priest and find this damned beacon for ANOTHER Daedric being while doing so and then while trekking to deal with THAT situation, I'm accosted by yet another cultist, but this time one worshipping yet ANOTHER Daedric being. Frankly, it was getting a little irritating, but I just kept telling myself my little golden rule and kept plodding along. Got some damned nice swag out of it all, though.

What can I say, girls love to shop!

I'm going to give cloth a try for the time being. I've got a brutal mace now to help me out when things turn melee on me, and my protective powers are growing as well, so why not. May well embrace the heavy armor again at a later date, but want to give his a whirl. Doesn't Lydia look great in that swag from the Daedric being?

Sorry, did I say looks great? I meant looks spooky as hell!

I've had people from all across Tamriel asking me to help them ever since I killed that first dragon. Thought I'd start with this nice lady from Hammerfell (where they have curved swords!)

Just a random encounter (IIRC), but wanted to demonstrate just how far my powers have come.

So okay, that's it for parts 2 and 3 of The Adventures Of MisenKan! Here's hoping it isn't another four months before part 4!

The Universe really loves to find new ways to screw over Sean Bean, eh? :p

I just got my first Beaufighter a couple of days ago. It's quite fun. I got a really good game yesterday, and all my kills came from it.

*sniffle* HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT IT?

Indeed, note that we do not see Cardgame's Mig performing any complex aerial manouvers ;) looks cool though!

Much love to everyone for their screenies.

So I was just following this airliner in my unarmed fighter jet when it suddenly fell flaming from the sky :eek2:

Action shot - actually am hanging from an enemy helo so he can't shoot me.

Why not hijack the helicopter and rain fire on those that annoy you? :p

Grappling to an enemy helicopter while there are multiple around is one of the funniest things to do in JC2.

A Russian gamer in a Yak7 demonstrating why there are so many Luftwafe Aces from the Eastern Front in WW2. He has crashed into the ground after strafing a heavy tank (that can't be damaged by his guns).
